A real savage / Pict DLC would be nice, with Dragonbone/skin T3 tents instead of the basic building pieces. All the current styles are way to civilized for me.

True would certainly not go back for seconds

Yog loves you friend…don’t deny him.

Currently at a wopping 114 GB space, what will it become should all that be added?

Glorious

It’s gonna need a better database manager.

I guess they can do something to reduce it. And in the worst case if that’s the price for having a game with awesome content then so be it.
And when we see games like call of duty at 200GB compared to content, it wouldn’t be so shocking from Conan Exiles.

Could be worse. When I bought Everquest about 20 years ago, it fit on a CD <750MB. Now its over 12GB.

Here is an idea for a Darfari/Kushite build.

Based on the ancient kingdom of Zimbabew
Another image, this one is from the Kingdom of Aksum.

I’ll be honest, as much as I’d like to see an Africa-inspired DLC, I really hope that if we ever do get one it’s not Darfari. This may venture too far into ~Pc~PoLiCe~ territory for some people, but I don’t really like the thought of the only African group in the game to get any attention being the ones mostly known for being a bunch of psychotic cannibals.

I’m quietly hoping for an Aesir dlc, also a Riddle of Steel 2 pack - Father’s sword, Thulsa Doom’s armour, etc.

This, and also if we’re branching off from the topic of DLCs based on specific cultures then I’d like to see like a variety pack of just casual outfits from various cultures. No building pieces, no weapons, placeables, warpaints, and definitely no pet skins, just a whole bunch of non-combat-oriented outfits to lounge around our giant bases in on those lazy Sunday afternoons.

Probably a bit too niche to actually happen but it’s high time these DLCs rejected the tyranny of tradition!

Interesting indeed, For the second image it would go very well to kushite which are governed by a dominant class of Stygian descendant. We can therefore easily imagine that they use construction very inspired by stygia next to huts or more rudimentary houses.

And for @BoogerParty I understand the idea it’s true that for a change, a dlc of more simplistic and less warlike outfit could be interesting. a simple adventurer’s outfit with a bag for example, and decorative accessories would be great. some aspire to a simple house and not a palace after all. Why not.

Omg, please don’t bring your woke stuff here. If you are too sensitive this is not the game for you.

I hate the times we live in. No matter how cool an idea or concept SOMEONE is going to find a reason to get offended.

Darfar and kush could be a great dlc pack for those very same reasons, they are depicted as savage (at least for darfar) and the addition of a dlc representing them would give more options as to building in a more savage style. I’ve been wanting to build my own primitive village since I started playing this game.

If your so called sensitive and PC nature gets offended at the color or a NPC skin…hell make it a savage Aesir with blond hair and white skin dlc idc.

I love both of those, but I always pictured a darfari village looking like a Zulu one, with palisades instead of stone walls, I THINK amazon prime still has the shaka zulu miniseries, was done back in the late 70s early 80s and they show a concept of their villages.

edit: 1987 was when it aired the 1st episode… I was 3 years old… damn im old >:(

as I said above, a dlc on darfari or kushites would be good. the darfari are savages anyway who have only a simple mud hut, little or no clothing at all and cannibals. There is a pretty good description in Howard’s works.

But I think people today are locked into a right thinking idea. Or it is important to not represent the blacks as cannibals, underdeveloped etc. It is a game and above all a fantasy universe which is more or less inspired by the Middle Ages and antiquity and in these two cases the populations African blacks was not developed and actually function in a tribal manner. Yes there were one or two kingdoms, but never like in europe or asia at the time. We must stop believing that Africa is Wakanda, it is absolutely false. But for all that, they have a culture of their own and a history. There is nothing wrong with saying that sub-Saharan Africa has never been as developed as many other countries in the world.

I would like to see a DLC that introduces Vendhyan architecture or maybe one that focuses more on Stygian architecture though I think that might be a bit too little for a DLC since we already have so many Stygian decoration parts in the base game.
On the other hand, seeing how awesome the northern timber mod is, I would definitely enjoy some Cimmerian / Vanir / aesir architecture as well.

Yes I agree! Vendhya would be great, the Cimmerians and Aesir too.

And for Stygia it could make a dlc so much their culture and rich. after all there was already some Aquilonian armor and decorations, they still made an Aquilonian DLC
