Next ethnic DLC?

Good evening everyone,

I don’t know if the question has already been asked and if there have been answers but do we know if the next ethnic dlc are planned? I imagine that with isle of siptha they were busy.
I would like to see DLC on the Nemedian, Aesir, Vendhyan people …

I never thought to refer to them as “ethnic dlc”… I will now tho

They could focus on Zingarans a bit more. They are not all pirates and they could bring in some Spanish aesthetics.

Cannibals. New recipes for human meats, especially spicy ones. Additional armors, place-ables and cool building pieces. And pet tiger or lion skins would be neat.

Ahem…

A darfar DLC

YOG-WILLS IT!

I couldn’t resist

that could be nice. especially that in the book “the hour of the dragon” the noble Zingarans live in castles and slaves who work the lands around.
Do you have sources of Spanish inspiration? that interests me I did not know.

And for the two people above indeed, a DLC to deepen the Darfari could be interesting.
the Kushites also why not

Well since Conan lore is based around different events in our timeline, early Spain was owned by Rome, after Rome fell, the early medieval Spaniards began to form kingdoms. So I assume that could be the inspiration of castles and such.
I’m also team Darfari so either or are fine with me. The issue is that they live in huts so I don’t know what they could do for them.

Indeed in view of the geographical position of Zingara as well as the descriptions given (even if they are thin) the high medieval Spain could be stuck.

For the Darfari, for example, it would be possible to make earthen walls as well as thatched roofs. It would be possible to create some sort of tribal village. All this with bloody decoration and human bone to match the cannibal atmosphere

Zingaran castles and such is pretty high on my list. But I definitely won’t say no to a Black Kingdoms DLC with structures akin to Meso-American structures. They’re not all Darfari Maneaters down there.

I’m hoping for Hyrkanian, Kushite, Vendhyan, or Stygian.

Not really holding my breath for Stygian though, given all the Stygian stuff we’ve already got in the base game and Siptah.

Kambujan would be cool too.

I think my own favorites would be Nemedian, Ophirian, Shemite (as a bridge between Stygian and Turanian aesthetics). Khosala would also be interesting, but to be honest given that the game doesnt have any NPC’s from the eastern most of portion of the setting Ethnic DLC’s for those cultures seems out of place.

Ya’ll realize for a game based on Conan the Cimmerian, we’ve yet to get a Cimmerian DLC?

I just hope they add more quality of life changes to future dlcs, like two set of extra walls that match on both sides so we can create rooms. They could also add more deco items to some of the dlcs that don’t have it like the Yamatai or Arena.

Yeah that’s true but they have that whole yurt vibe and minimalist thing going on…

I’d want a full blown Stygia dlc myself.

it is obvious that there is still a lot of dlc possible.
the most important for me would be:

  • Nemedia
  • Stygia
  • Vendhya
  • Cimeria
  • Hyrkania
  • Zingara
  • Zamora
  • Black Kingdoms (Darfar, Kush, Keshan)
  • Hyperborea
  • Aesir

Of course as I saw above Kosha, Acheron as well as Koth, Iranistan … Could also be interesting.

There is really a huge amount of content possible and imaginable. And a lot of great things to collect from AOC.

Pirate is an ethnicity, right? People are born with sealegs.

Would love some Hyrkania, though I guess Turan fills that, no yog stuff, I hate cannibals!

Long years I’m waiting for Stygian dlc and still nothing…
They added tons stygian things to Siptah, but still no dlc, still nothing for base map…

Nemedia too please

I’d love to see a Vendhyan DLC! Take a look at this thread someone created in the fanworks forum:
