So there is life within Funcom on this forum, will it fix more than it breaks?
Really cool, but why not on testserver? This can only end in a disaster…
By Crom! … We will see.
Any idea of when patch notes will drop?
Will this update fix the “building piece placement” issue in single player ?
What fixes the update brings for the quests of Lui Fei and Freya ?
How big in gigabytes will be ?
I guess the patch notes will be “top secret” again, and if we’re lucky, they’ll be available a day or two after the update.
The dreggs is a gimmy aren’t they.
10 MILLION!
Well they always have been so why would that be any different this time?
Not really. The “Dark” being eluded to is that is the day they turn the lights off on us.
But in all seriousness, thank you for the update @AndyB. NOW BE MORE ACTIVE FFS!
another update that has not even been tested.. GREAT!
Andy isn’t dead!
And there was much rejoicing to be had by all exiles.
Did the testing actually accomplish anything?
there goes away peace of conan again with update that ruins something again… dune lost users so they returned to milk conan again with bad upgrades that ruins everything …
Not sure why people think the beta was for testing, it was for hype. It was there simple for content produces to do free advertising of the next build for funcom. That is all it ever was.
I’ve seen little proof of any return, it’s just coming up on the 6 month cycle.
But as I have said ad nuasium, I’m not playing because of any game issues, I am just fed the F up with funcom.
Dune has went the way I expected, give it a few more months and what players are left will be singing “where have all the reps gone” just like us.
I might buy it when it gets down to $20, and it will get there.
Other things I’d like to discuss; the success of a one man dev game, but some one has been pretty flag happy of late.
Well when you play dune you will see its same developers - why? Because they even have same bugs that never was fixed in conan like outfits that takes same 2 spots on 1 item, or that idiotical sliding bug…when climbing and best of all, each ‘‘update’’ adds more bugs , only latest one somehow did not added more than 3…. yet around 2 hours later they added hotfix…
thing is, games on release is good, but each update ruins them… i still stay to what i said year or so ago that funcom developing games is like some students doing bare minimum to pass exams… because normal working company i dunno, modders damn do better work keeping funcom games up that funcom themselfs, without mods and most players who are just loving 1980 conan and dune, are the ones who are reason these games aint dead, because there was one more game that each update killed somethign… now that game has 10 players worldwide only (died soon )
So funcom should start to pay players to find bugs, and moders that upkeep this game and stop spam ‘‘copyright things’’ on youtubers who notes bugs…
It is like funcom signature “ Hey we add update that give new bugs”
NDA
Agree funcom games usually hit their peak in the first few months then funcom starts “developing” them. Then they do this meandering, no clear path, no rhyme nor reason developing, till the game becomes a development quagmire; gigidy. This is just funcom’s SOP.
But this is straying from the topic of the super cereal update.
Flagged my post and not the one I was responding to?
Nope nothing personal here
