Nightime could be more perilous, darker and having special monsters spawn up. Demons or other creatures of the nights. More dangerous with special harvest materials or loot to be gained for those who risk venturing in the night for the hunt. Weak seek shelther during the night and Crom laughs at them, while the strong brave into the dark.
You are exploiting the game, by doing something you aren’t meant to do. By jacking up the gamma, you broke how the game was intended to be played, and now you want it more difficult.
This is basically like saying “The game is too easy. I used the admin panel to give me level 60, all feats, and spawn the best gear. You need to make it tougher.”
I dont really adjust gamma because I play more for challenge and RP, but doing nightime PVP vs someone who has increased gamma puts me in disadvantage. I like to explore during nights for thematic reasons
But back to my original point of the post. It would be cool to have some special monsters to spawn during nights, or even humanoid enemies.
Something that specificly aims towards light sources.
These nightime NPCs would carry some better loot, but would be harder to kill ofc. You could propably then lure them out by placing lightsources on the ground. Somesort of Night Raid
While some beasts more would be ok for me, i agree for the demons, they would need a reason more than just pop-in right so.
But i this idea, i’m still waiting on some sandbeasts or simpler beasts why not in the sandstorm.
I know, ever sandstorm has been nerved bit and pushed south what is a pitty in my opinion. But this shows to that all players will not agree and love a more harder still harder game.
So yes, we may have to chose a middle-way, maybe area driven more ?
what i’d like to see are non purge NPCs just wandering around the map… hunters and gatherers… travelers… traders… similar things would work with creatures too
