No Challenge Rewards after Claiming them from completionpa

Hello!

I’ve been working on challenges and have gotten up to level 4. I’ve gone back to the battle pass page and clicked on CLAIM on all of them, but I do not see that in my Knowledge Ancestry area in the inventory nor do I see any Crom Coins attached. Am I missing a step or is it just bugged?

I play on a private PC server and seem to be the only one with this issue.

No I’m having the same problem. Ive completed a bunch of challenges got to level 3 and i should have the armour set a building piece and 120 crom coins but for the life of me cant find a way to claim those rewards. Ive even tried buying 1200 crom coins to see if it was the case that you need to pay to reclaim them but as far as I can tell that doesnt seem to be the case.

I’m playing on a private server, not single player. I am an admin but I completed all the challenges legitimately so that I can tell the guys who play with me exactly what they need to do.

Hi there!

I’m sorry to hear you’re not received the expected items when claiming Battle Pass levels - did you purchase either the standard or premium Battle Pass for Conan Exiles? There are no free rewards in the first four levels, specifically, so if you haven’t purchased either Battle Pass this would be normal.

After adding Crom Coins to your account, keep in mind that you’ll still need to purchase the Battle Pass in order to activate it in-game. You can do this buy clicking “Buy Battle Pass” in the lower left-hand corner:

You can also see in this screenshot that the fifth reward is marked “FREE,” which makes it the first reward available to all players regardless of their account’s Battle Pass status.

I hope this information helps! If you haven’t yet read the Battle Pass FAQ, you can do so at any time here: https://funcom.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/8971541057684-Battle-Pass-FAQ

Thank you for your quick replay and clearing that up

Question.

If I must have a Battle Pass active to claim the non free items, and the Crom coins are non-free items, how will I get enough Crom coins through challenges to acquire the Battle Pass through challenges alone?

Crom coins aren’t free. The battle pass Crom coins are simply a way to reimburse you (which will only happen if you complete ALL Crom coin levels). It would be nice to have some way to get them in game, but that’s not an option currently. The battle pass Crom coins should be enough to pay you back for the price of the battle pass. Thai the reason why I’ll only be getting the pass if I compete it.

So, I went looking for the info that indicated Funcom stated that Battle Pass rewards would be available through challenges, that no cash would be required if players were willing to put in a few hours a week over 13 weeks, but I cannot find it.

So, at this point, we’re stuck with a system that will fester annoyance and tirades in the forums about how Battle Pass ruined the game.

I look at it as a $10 DLC, so, case closed, for me.

But, sincerely, thanks for the backstop.

That was probably just a mis-interpretation of what Funcom had been saying. Everything I saw since the 3.0 announcement was like we have it. That you had to buy it once, and as long as you mostly complete it, you get ‘refunded’ enough Crom Coins to buy the next one. Buy one Battle Pass and grind, and never need to spend real money to get any more.

Idk… I recall their stream reveal of the sorcery update they specifically stated that it would be a paid feature with a few freebies, which they actually showed as they scrolled through the pass. Perhaps they didn’t state this well enough outside the video. However, I went into the update knowing this to full well be the situation.

This is correct.

I’m sorry for any misunderstanding - there is no purchase required to complete challenges and progress through the Battle Pass levels, but you’ll only be able to receive the rewards marked “FREE.”

You won’t be locked out of receiving the earlier rewards if you wait to purchase the Battle Pass later, of course. After purchasing the standard or premium Battle Pass, you can go back and redeem rewards from any levels you’ve already completed. Just make sure to do so before the Battle Pass ends. :slightly_smiling_face:

Understood. The misunderstanding is mine.
