This is it all boiled down.
Wait till Dune awakening starts the cheaters will be rampant.
Once you have purchased the game FC’s interest in you is zero.

I honestly think they wouldn’t lose that many. Any one still playing this game now isn’t going anywhere.
You do get not everyone plays the same, right? I’ve started over 100 times ±. Right now my main game has peeked. I have 1 journey left to do, my level is maxed, I know everything, and have unlocked 98% of everything in game. I’m not really playing.
I build a base of operations as a base of operations. I’m not building a castle, or a village, or a display platform for all my bazaar purchases. I toss up my 3 story hat box and I’m happy.

Most veteran players have already been through one or more massive losses if not total wipes.
And I’d also say the majority of the veteran players are not whales; frequent bazaar shoppers that buy it all now.
Just an FYI: Whales are my favorite ocean going mammals. If I wanted to be insulting I refer to some one as a dolphin; because dolphins are evil.
Have they not fixed it? Do you see any new reports?
Ya that pretty well covers all the ways ![]()
The not a player base yet on discord will learn this the hard way. Couple months in they will realize they just got ghosted by the half a dozen various funcom reps that used to argue with them about pineapple on pizza.
How do other companies deal with this?
Considering the large number of servers affected, I was surprised that we didn’t see a rollback on all Officials on 11-25, the Monday after the big hack.
O_o
Then it should be easy to find an example. Right?
O_o
You are giving too much credit an atrention to throlls , use ignore button . And move on.
Any serious software conpany aanounces when they plan to stop support for any product they have. I have also seem the same with some game companies.
Funcom has clearly abandoned the game , but decided to not say a word. They should have , it is within their right to stop supporting a game they own f it is no longer profitable but ,they should at least say so.
I saw all of this comming. Some users here attacked me for being negative for not believing in funcom , in short time proved i was right… and funcom proven how dishonest and liars they are
As far if this game is dead …
Right now everyone knows the game is abandoned. Funcom kbows it , but they have chosen dishonesty instead of being honest by announcing it
The one thing i dont understand is why introduce a big change that came buggy such as settlement system ? Why would they do something like that… they could have left crafter as they were , and move on. I cant understand their logic. Game is so broken…
they can count that i am not going to spend a dime into a dishonest and yes… incompetent company. That is what funcom is.
That said, I don’t really care what their problem is. This is not the first time I’ve seen people label demands for improvement as “unreasonable” or “futile”, followed by speculation about the internal functioning of Funcom to which we’re not privy. My reply to that remains the same: as a user, I don’t care why Funcom is incapable or unwilling to provide acceptable results, I only care that they improve.
Coincidentally, I just got an email today about an update to my report - if it came tomorrow it would be exactly a month since the previous update and I’d rather not count how long the whole process has been going on.
Greetings Exile,
We currently experience a high number of contacts from our community, and regret not having been able to do an in depth investigation on the issue you reported.
We hope it has already improved on its own. However, if this still impacts your experience on official servers, please feel free to get back to us and let us know.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
I wouldn’t count on improvements in the near future and it’s basically a “cheaters , do what you want” message
No its not it is an automated response …
Yes, you are.
Thank you for playing.
Have the day you deserve.
The Bazaar hasn’t been abandoned. Daily updates. And I’m one of the folks with the poor judgement to have spent some money there.
yes, but bazaar is not the game , it just a store for the game. XD
The voices in your head are not everyone.
Of coarse you can’t. Logically why would they continue to develop a dead game.
Ok can we say good bye or are you going to hang around and moan for a few more months?
You didn’t phrase it incorrectly. I understand your point. You just happened to post it in a way that supported someone else’s abuse of that same point.
Just one question: why, dude?
not your problem.
then is it pure incompetence?
oh based on what i see and hear in game and on forums, trust me i am not the only one with that mind set.
but let me ask you someting…
why are you always trying to pick up fights on the forums? is it for lack of attention in RL? or what.? , just trying to understand why do you behave like that. i certainly do not undertand the need to be so unpleasant with other people you disagree with.
I didn’t call for anything. Just stating what happened in actual practice.
I haven’t spent a single cent on CE or any other Funcom game since they were bought by tencent nor will I.
Another observation. Being zealously attached to fleeting, ethereal objects of zero value… Well, you fill in the blanks.
You know, I always found that sentiment a bit weird. I think people are putting way too much importance on the difference between virtual and physical, and letting themselves get blinded to what really matters: how and why we value things in our lives.
Take photos, for example. My son’s baby photos will have no value to a stranger like you, but an immense sentimental value to me and my wife. Does it really matter whether they’re 1s and 0s on some drive? It won’t hurt any less to lose them than it would hurt to get an album with physical photos lost or stolen or destroyed.
Or for a more exaggerated example: most people don’t have piles of cash sitting around. Their “money” is in the form of 1s and 0s spread across multiple computers. And yet you wouldn’t hear anyone tell you “it’s just random bits on a computer” if your bank account got hacked.
And it’s not just the difference between virtual and physical. Your private information and your reputation are two examples of non-physical things you are probably very attached to.
So if it’s not their virtual, or ephemeral, or abstract nature, what is it about our Conan Exiles “possessions” that makes people think they have “zero value”?
The only other explanation I’ve heard is “it’s just a game”. And yeah, I get that. That’s mostly how I feel about it. But it’s still reductive.
People have different hobbies and they value them differently. For example, If I’m not a professional chef, but I enjoy cooking as a hobby, should I not be upset that my pots and pans were damaged by the moving company? And if you think that getting somewhat upset about that is reasonable, then why treat video games so differently?
Hansel is the boy the killed the witch.
Oh but it is.
Ya couldn’t be the game isn’t dead. Until you except that the update wont make any sense to you.
That is still far from everyone. People like to use all inclusive terms because then think it adds weight to their argument, it doesn’t.
I as well as other
a few people and myself
my friends and I
Is how you include others. You have no clue what everyone wants.
I’m not picking a fight.
It’s not what you are saying it’s how it is being said. You use all inclusive terms I’m going to point it out.
Do you think everyone that disagrees with you is picking a fight?
As I said I built a lot of 1/72 scale model WW1 scout planes. I super detailed them from scrap, rigged with thread. Dozens of hours of work. I have none on display. I built them to build them, once done I has quite satisfied. I did put them on a shelf but as the shelf filled older planes got tossed. When I moved I tossed those.
