I log in, get to the server screen, as soon as I pick my server, I get the fatal error message. I eventually left it there and continued onto the server only to crash about 5-10 minutes later. I validated files, restarted Steam, even rebooted my computer multiple times and nothing seems to work.
I am sorry you are getting that issue. Its a pain in the buttocks. There is a thread about this issue and various methods that work for various causes. I ran into last summer ish. I was going to say fall but I think it was actually a little earlier than that. I know ‘check and make sure are no mods’ on the mods tab was one. Validating files (that didnt resolve mine either), rebooting also doesnt work. I think I had to go remove a back up file or something. It did not cause me to lose anything and whichever file it was worked back then.
