Official PVE-C treasure problem

Hi - I just found out, that I can pick up other players valuables from their treasure room - not sure if it is like that only during pvp hours or all the time, but still - it shouldn’t be possible on pve-c server. I’m talking about big ones, like golden derketo cat or coins chest - I was also able to pick up coin piles (they are turning into big sacks of valuables - can walk out with them just like with other big treasures.
Can someone confirm is it intended? I’m quite sure that it wasn’t like that before.

Intended I believe, and only possible during pvp hours.

Adding reasons to fight is a good thing.

Wait until you notice someone has kidnapped all your named crafters out of benches too close to your windows.

Not in PVEC.

Perhaps it is the specific settings on one of the servers this one plays on then.

This is 1043 official server - it wasn’t like that before for sure. Besides it is against ground PVE-C rules to be able to interact with other players belongings other than fountains, map rooms, teleporters and tavern recruitables.

No, it’s literally the point of treasure. Why do you think they made it turn into a bag? Come on lol… It’s a little tiny bit of immersive “danger” in terms of belongings. Put them behind closed doors. Problem solved. :face_holding_back_tears::joy:

I feel like that could be developed further.

The purpose of PVE-C for example, is for players to be able to engage in PVP and be able to build without fear of building distruction. But they are expected to fight. Not only do I believe PVE-C servers (whomever runs them) should be enabled to allow players to fight all the time. But when players are able to damage each other, treasures should be vulnerable to theft.

This would mean you cannot put treasures behind closed doors. Or more specifically they will be ‘unlocked’ when you are logged in. So that you have to not only build in a way to protect from the purge, but your base turns into an arena you can fight amongst to protect said treasures.

If PVE-C is in effect or non-raid hours on PVP, then obviously no building damage can occur.

PVE-C needs more spice to it. Not simply be a PVE server with occasional drama.

I agree. I think theft should be a thing. Tables. Unlocked chests. Everything you can steal from in PVP should be stealable in PVEC. That would ramp up the beef exponentially :joy: No booms, no actual structures being blown up, but a little more danger :wink:

I would like to get clarification - is this intentional or not and was it like that before on official pve-c. I’m like 99% sure, that it wasn’t possible earlier.
It’s not a big issue for me, I was just surprised, that this is a thing - and now yes, I needed to close the door to my tresure “showroom”.

I’ve been on PVEC officials since long before treasure was a thing. I’ve been able to make off with others’ large treasures the whole time :woman_shrugging:

Intended. I remember on one of Wak4863s videos that picking up treasure items was listed in a Funcom update somewhere.

On PVEc you can do that during the permitted conflict window.
