Official server #1021 is showing database errors.
Users are experiencing issues with items (equipping and unequipping).
Please restart and optimize the database.
There are also database delays and these are not lags.
Considering the fact that the servers are over 2500 days old, a WIPE would be best
It’s currently unplayable, which explains the low player count.
I bought the complete edition yesterday and I have this error where I can’t equip items on my character, I wanted to have some fun with my friends while waiting for the game Dune please fix it we are playing in the world #1021 pve
I restarted the PC, verified the files, and also stripped the character of all clothes and equipment and it didn’t help
Yes (at least it should). Ever since the inventory system was ‘overhauled’ (by which they meant ‘removed most working functions, such as persistent custom sorting, and introduced a bunch of unwanted bugs’) it is best to keep your inventory (and all chests etc set to ‘No Sort’ or the game screws up equipping and unequipping items, discards items at random instead of the ones selected and generally causes all sots of other problems.
Expoct Dune to have the same sorts of problems (and to follow the Funcom pattern of being supported for a while and then generally being ignored and left to fill up with ever more bugs until fewer and fewer people want to play it (but by then they’ll already have your money…)).
thank you very much for the answer, so Funcom knows about it? This bug has been there for a long time? Are they going to fix it? There are still a lot of fans of this universe
Yup - as Kiki says, they know and have known for a long time (she’d be the expert on the exact dates since she maintains the list of reported bugs (and the far shorter list of bugs that have been fixed) - since Funcom refuse to maintain any such list on their own). Sadly this is how Funcom treats any game that they’ve had running for long enough - they start with hype, fanfare and big promises, then they break their promises, stop communicating and keep adding more and more bugs.
To be fair, the more accurate wording is : They will add new and new, previously untested features regardless of how they will (not) work or whether they somehow negatively impact content already in the game.
And of course, over time, they’ll almost completely bail on fixing anything they themselves broke beforehand, just fixing a trivial bug here and there for the appearance of caring and players continuing to buy content.
