Overwritten single player game

My Lvl 40 single-player game was overwritten by my wife’s single-player game.

So I am going to try to explain how this happened, and you all need to fix this because it is infuriating.

Here we go, this will also hopefully contain enough info so you can recreate and fix this. I understand my game is gone, but this is a quick way to drive people away. If it had happened to my wife, she would be done with this game.

So my wife and I both have single player, civilized games and we take turns playing, she under her profile, and me under mine.

Last night, rather than closing her game, and logging out, she just shuts down the Xbox one console. (Hit the Xbox button, turn off console)

This morning I wake up, turn on the Xbox and log in my profile. I then launch Conan.
I am immediately taken to my wife’s suspended game, still running, that asks if I want to change profiles.

I exit to dashboard and Close Conan.
I then check to see if my wife’s profile is logged out… looks like it is, but to make sure, I log her in and then out immediately.

I then launchConan Exiles, and choose Single Player, continue.
I am greeted by the create character screen. WTF.

Close it down, try again, single player, Continue still an option, choose to continue, again I am greeted by the character creation screen.

I rage… rage at my wife for not actually logging out, etc…
Get over it… and create my new damn character.

I wander down the beach, trying to decide where/what I am going to do differently in this game and low and behold, what do I find, but my wife’s first house.

So… Obviously, in this weird process, my wife’s single player game overwrote my single player game.

BTW, I hate you guys…

Oh man, that really sucks, i feel your pain, i launched the game to fiind my character standing on a rock …massive base gone …a couple of Fibers, some rotten meat, a stone two handed sword to my name, ya, Funcom SUCKS alright.

Unfortunately the game is specially buggy in xbox in every way possible as this bug evidencies.
In fact it’s so much affecting it they have already put it on sales.
Hope they figure a way to fix it on xbox as I also play it.

man, you are one of the lucky few that can play the game. mine just crashes whenever i try to load up my singleplayer save… (happens everytime since the 14.06.18 update)

Hey man I feel your pain. I’ve also had nothing but issues since I’ve purchased the game. I’m playing on the Xbox One X and I do single player offline right now. I’ve made it to level 22 but not without issues. I’ve lost all my item wheels contents and my armor 6 times now since launch. The most recent issue I’ve had is when i die my body isn’t visible when I locate the spot where it should be. All that’s there is a shadow and of course none of my loot.

My last 4 log on’s have been bug free and I hope it continues that way.

I’be been explaining what’s been happening to me on Twitter because none of the dev’s/mod’s will reply on their own forum. All I get in a reply from them is “we’re only human and we’re aware of the problems you’re experiencing”. Translation is that “we have a sh*t ton of issues to address and we’re going to take care of them first on PC so you’ll just have to wait. And oh by the way, we’re releasing a DLC so we can take more of your money in the meantime”. Great Funcom, just F’ing great!!!
