As for your frustrations, I honestly doubt much of the coding team involved in the bug fixes you are most concerned about were involved with the Halloween update. Probably just one person to get the meteor shower going, the rest of the changes and additions are all art based or sound based. None of the art team would be involved in the bug fixing that is of your most highest concerns.
First of all, itâs pretty looking! Well done there.
However, like others said, itâs way too dark in certain areas of the game. Not sure if doable in a quick patch, but how about leaving the dark tint as it is but make it only happen when itâs night time?
I have no clue where these meteors can fall. I assume theyâre re-skinned meteors, so this begs a question (Maybe stupid but idk), will they damage structures if they land on buildings or are they only landing in specific no build locations?
Iâve seen some land in the savannah area, so I have no idea how wide is the scope of these meteor landings.
I cant describe in words how stupid this update is. I was afraid I would have to play in techno lights all night, then I read its for a week. The time I spend gaming I wont physically be able to play like this for a week. If you wanted less people to play why dont you just take some servers offline? Most of them are empty anywaysâŠ
And why, every single time you try to do something, you brake something else? I can walk through doors, not open other doors, im glitching around the base, thralls dropping through the floor. And on top of all an even more confusing event logâŠ
Iâd like to opt out 3 hours ago please, before the entire server filled with literally a hundred thousand items of game-breaking loot.
You should take a page out of the modders book - nice, balanced atmospheric changes. Not thousands of out-of-your mind free end game loot drops and a solid week of nightâŠ
I canât begin to fathom how these concepts even got off the drawing board.
on officials, meteors fall about every 20-30 min and Always in the same areas. i managed to get hit by one
They are extremely easy to spot in the desert and can fall by dozens.
Not the same story in the frozen north though but you can still find some as well.
The private server I play, admins decided to shut down the server during this event in order to prevent players to get rare items that they are not ready for (do not deserve).
I wonât have time, but itâs probably what you mentioned that was in the patch notes. Also itâs a blueprint Iâve never actually looked at so I wouldnât know what changes happened even if I spent all day studying it. I just noticed the blueprint change via a list given to us by one of the devs on what assets were changed in the latest dev kit update.
