PC Hotfix (16.05.2019) - Small fixes and second wave of thrall wiping

Good morning, I had problems again, today I was able to capture a blacksmith, then I noticed that all tribes disappeared again, the image came back to be bugged. I have windows 10 and 8.1 in dual boot, in both I installed the game in different hds, the same problem happen in both. Can someone help me?

Resolved by restoring the ConanSandbox map, now everything working fine.

You keep removing all the fast ways to level at this point take arks approach and give us server transfers and the ability to bring inventory stuff with. When servers die and we have to waste time releveling again and again it’s has killed the game drastically. I have 10 level 60s and my server is dying. I refuse to level again and will sooner spam every source for players to quit this game because you the creators are beyond ridiculous. And change certain things that were perfectly fine! So what if using the bomb to level quick was vaible. It’s better than wasting so many hours grinding it back numerous times. And you also have no balls to ever confront my posts. You merely close them. As a person who took game design classes I know exactly what I’m talking about. I’m not the only player who feels this way. I know about 100 people ready to quit again instead of starting over again.

Please everybody, keep this thread for discussions about the hotfix, and keep it civil.

I am amazed this hasn’t been brought up before. Music, music is gone almost everywhere you go on the map. And this is getting really annoying. Ok, immersive wise, noone has an orchestra behind playing music as they go out in the world chopping monsters and exploring, but it makes the game much more playable. Now without music it’s getting a bit dull. Please fix the music!.

Also, on private servers I play, people are reporting insane exp ammounts out of the new dungeon mobs and bosses, not sure this is intended but maybe a second thought on the exp tables for those critters is in order?

So I’m suppose to level from 1 to 60 dozens a times? Sorry but is a mere drag and I would rather quit playing nthe game ever game.

Sir Robin has his minstrels. Monty Python DLC rears its head again! Muahahahhaa! Sorry @Ignasi

Our team is working on a fix for the music issue, hopefully to be released quicker than an unladen swallow transporting coconuts.

Nope, if it’s too tedious for you, try another game buddy. But to be fair, you can still easily get to Lv 60 within a week.

I’m assuming you host a server?! Have you tried other activities to entice players in/to stay? We hold weekly battle events with prizes and a Happy Hour where we triple harvesting, players love it. We have a thriving community with new players joining all the time.

Shameless Punt: Our server is called : The Isle of Pit (PvE-Conflict UK Server)

Not quit yet then? Why don’t they play on your server with you?

I’m talking about gaming, so how long last a game ?
One of my samsung ssd is now around 3years old, and still do fine the work.

But i’m not talking about data, and saving archives. :joy:
This being part of my job, believe me here microfilm is still the leader.
But again, it’s all about gaming and fun here.

Informatic and centuries are 2 worlds still.

While i love what this tech has brought us mostly, i doubt we gain when i comes to holding data. But like said, that not the discussion here.
And honestly, thinking so, better to take a stone tablett, still very reliable during ages.

Sure, lot difference on the market, while some may be super cheap, but slow and bad, there are some very nice around to.

Mostly buy Samsung to, for ssd also monitor and such.

While they are working on this maybe add in a feature to turn off the Soundtrack but leave on the Battle music. I like listening to my own music but I do like hearing the combat music as an audio cue when Spiders, Hyena and Wolves start following, among other things

So what you are saying is you go from official server to official server making everyone life miserable until they quit the server then get bored without people to mess with and move to a new official server to go at people there. You are unhappy with this and want to be able to have your fun removing other peoples fun more quickly.

I don’t see this as an issue. Go play ark.

Server Bug ?

We use the Dedicated Server Launcher 1038, since the patch before this one, our server wont complete a reboot at a set time. The server shuts down however the two processes remain running and it doesn’t boot back up. Each time I would need to open Task Manager (we use a Windows server) and close two CE processes, then I can boot the server back up.

I changed back to a previous copy, DedicatedServerLauncher1028 which had worked fine previously but it too suffered the same issue which makes me think that it has to do with the game rather than the DSL.

Server is a Vanilla PvP-C - no mods. Any thoughts?

Just tagging you in @Toolguy

Actually, when I published my version 1.0.39 yesterday, I noticed that clicking the Stop button on the launcher did not actually stop the server at all, but the same thing happened when I tried a few of the older versions, so indeed I suspect it’s game related.

I just tried again 10 minutes ago, and there was a patch, and after that it restarted correctly, so maybe that was a small hiccups that got fixed?

@Ignasi have you heard anything about servers getting stuck when trying to shut them down?

Please, everybody, keep it civil. Take a look at our community guidelines and keep them in mind when within our community:

That gives me some belive that there is some kind of higher justice in this world.

In our case, the server would shut down mostly, in the console window it was written that the game had shut down however the processes hand’t closed and the game hadn’t rebooted. This shutdown wasn’t done manually, it was the feature used for daily reboots in the DSL software. Like I said, manually closing the two processes would shut the game down, I could then delete the two temp files, (game.db-shm & game.db-wal) clean the DB and relaunch.
