PS4 Hotfix (16.05.2019) - Critical fixes and wiping of unintended thralls

Hey everybody!

We’re releasing a new hotfix for the game that should take care of a few critical issues introduced with the last patch.

One of those issues was the ability to knock out and break some NPC bosses, which is completely unintentional. Since it could result in some critical balancing problems within the game, there will be a targeted wipe of any boss-mob that has been captured: that affects ALL NPCs from this list:

Moras of the Sands
Hat’She the Mad
Seeker Ophelia

Emissary of Haon-Dor
Emissary of Tsathoggua

This wipe will come into action once all official servers are being restarted to apply the patch. This auto-wipe will only affect official servers. We sincerely apologize for the short notice, but we agreed that this would cause an extreme imbalance in the game mechanics if not acted upon swiftly.

  • Dismantling traps will no longer give Explosive Jar back.


  • Players can no longer knock out and break the Emissary bosses from the Underwater Dungeon. PLEASE NOTE: Any existing thralls gained in this way will be removed once spawned from your inventory into the world.
  • Inventory of Gazelles is now back from 10 to 20.
  • Fixed an issue that made a number of NPCs unavailable in the game.


  • Fixed an issue that would prevent climbing in caves and other locations.
  • Fixed a visual issue in which human NPC corpses would flicker or disappear.
  • Nordheimer heart now correctly drops from Tier 4 Nordheimer enemies.
  • MaxhealthBuff now correctly restores max health instead of stamina upon expiration.


  • Resources can be harvested in dungeons again (i.e Black Ice in the Temple of Frost).


  • Conflict option in Server Browser’s Combat Mode drop-down is now functional again.
  • Server Settings in menu can now be saved again.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented resolution settings from applying correctly.
  • The Event log privacy option is available again in the server settings menu.

No fix on the god protection? Still going down after server crash or reset.


Would be nice to be able to actually update… PvP is still active, am mid raid, and you guys are taking your ■■■■■■■■ time

Say that To Sony who’ s responsible of the delay because of the certification process .

Bubble Protection for 12h? Come on that bs cost 500 npcs. Go back to 36 at least

And you also deleted Vahtis’s with all my armors and weapons. You gotta be kidding me funcom. I want all my armors and weapons back


And I still have to wait 10 to 15 minutes before the door load so I can get out. Still invisible enemies kill you before you see them.

Will this will ever change?? Doubt it.


buddy, idk why you’re crying. ymir takes 2500 npc kills. if you actually had allies or something you can grind out at LEAST a god a day

that is inevitable. it’s due to your personal lag. i’m in a server and rarely will I fight invisible enemies. I have 2 friends out of maybe around 8 that fight invisible enemies constantly. it’s your personal lag. I honestly can only recommend getting faster connection or switching servers.

If you dont have work, studies or social life you can play Conan, is that what you mean?


Yea there is many games out there just play something else if u cry about things full time gamers can do

So it’s my mistake? even I have good connection and the games was not doing this when i got the game… I see

@KoIFy That’s your fault for deliberately using bugged NPC’s and then not even reading the forum enough to realize they are gonna be gone, yet you come here to cry, so toxic


i know, it’s bs. my friend has a faster connection than me but sees the invis enemies and our base lags so bad that i have to open the door for him sometimes

too much NPC at the way out from volcano dongeon that can kill you while the respawn …perhaps not corrected

HA bubble not fixed, it ain’t critical issue amirite?

Rip our emissaries gear, all good tho big grind, but longer god protection would be ideal we can only grind so many 12 hours little over 24 would be ideal so we can schedule when we gotta grind out instead of taking our daily activities


So far so good. This is just observations after a few minutes of playing new hiotfix

Archer thralls seem to be attacking enemies more instead of ignoring.

Floating thrall is no longer floating! He made it back to the solid ground successfully
