If you equip the claws to your slave’s hands and drag a 1 handed weapon from your hotbar directly (it’s important, otherwise this “trick” does nort work), it will wield both of them. It’s onyl a visual bug, I’ve tried to give him venom-infused weapons, seasalt cutlass (every hit bleeds), but the effects did not transfer, so no exploit (yet ). I did not try with other weapons, I guess it works. Only visual bug, but it’s pretty funny to look at.
Here I am again. Idk why I bother but here goes. Since the update, PCs and NPCs are getting stuck in a ready animation and not walking or running but instead are skating across the terrain. One dodge with attributes maxed out for stamina eats up half my stamina bar. I can’t do hardly anything like that because now also using your weapon eats what stamina is left. NPCs teleporting across the terrain too. Might as well delete archery out of the game because it is useless in this environment. Start to sprint and I walk 10 steps before I actually start to run. Plus everytime I log out of the server and log back in, my character is dead and reading “Out of Stamina”
I agree with Narelle but I can understand the frustration. I have been waiting patch after patch ever since they introduced followers for Funcom to fix the glaring issues that are in the game. I had a long discussion with Codemage about it on another thread and I do understand the argument he made and I don’t doubt that that’s alot of what is happening with Funcoms development team. I also know that I have played all the Funcom games starting with anarchy online as I referenced in a different thread. They are all the same…they start out great with great promise and then slowly “get fixed until they are broke”. That is on Funcom…other games of the same type built on the same engine average around 50k players at any time.(not hard numbers, don’t bite my head off) That is all on Funcom, it is often said that they aren’t a AAA studio and they only have a few people but that is only because they are horrible with mapping things out in a clear logical way and sticking with it. That is why they went bankrupt and ultimately had to make this to pull them out. The failure of age of conan and others is the reason and they failed for the same reason as this game is tanking…random changes for no reason and fixes for things that aren’t broken and new systems that were not needed and poorly implemented. It would be nice if Funcom would step back…take a breath and fix the most glaring issues before they do anything else. Thralls are the perfect example of that. They were created and put in the game as a necessary core part of the game. That alone says that they should work as good as possible not be just another part that will be fixed “in the next patch”. How would it work if the thirst system was like followers? Sometimes you can drink, sometimes you cant or sometimes a water skin provides food and a roasted haunch satisfies your thirst? I realize that it wouldn’t be an easy job to untangle this mess but I for one and I am sure others would be more than happy to wait for that. As it is now Funcom, Funcom patches and Funcom bugs have become just another meme for lolz.
With that being said I will go back to waiting for “the next patch” and hope for the best.
Yes, it is frustrating to own a game that doesn’t work. It has cool concepts but poor performance. I do realize that they are now newly focused on making things better so I wait patiently for that to happen. But when doing the updates, if they really care to fix things, they would want to hear from the community. My beef has not been how poorly the game plays or doesn’t play. We could all work as a team and help them make it better by reporting these many many bugs. But my beef is how they treat me on here. My voice has escalated over the years I know. There is only so much I can take being abused. This is not something that surfaced overnight…this is a reflection of the relationship and dealings I have had with Funcom since day 1 of downloading the game. I am aware not all players are looking for the same features and content, but I am pretty sure that ALL players want the features and content implemented into the game to work or there is no reason to have it.
Private modded server. All mods were updated same day as Funcom update was released. Only changes were Funcom additions of animations and sprint attacks. I know it is easier to just shove all problems off on mods but it’s not practical.
I haven’t noticed anything worse yet except for the Thrall weapon bug. Movement seems smoother and the mob drops are better which is good.
I don’t think they need to always drop spectre coating or so many steel bars. I think it’s better if they have sth like a one in 5 chance to drop moderate quantities of high grade stuff (10-15) or larger quantities of common resources; one dropped over 300 iron ore for me, it was the first time I picked it up since reaching level 60.
I also think that because shaggai grubs are so easy to get, usually two with each kill almost every time, there’s going to be a lot of those spammed around the map. Easy come easy go y’know.
With heavy armour and 3 levels of grit one roll eats just over 1/4 stam btw
Not sure if it was posted already (for this patch, I know it was already an issue in the past) but I run a server on Siptah and no one is able to unlock that journey step. It’s a fresh server created at 2.3, we tried with the mods and without. We all have several pets and mount (with the same player puting them in the pen AND taking them out when done) but no one get those steps validated.
I tried to generate horses and random pets as an admin to see if it would work randomly, but after more than 100 horses and 50 pets, still nothing
Yes, I use an alchemistbench. I don’t have any mods installed at the moment. In addition to the fact that t3 alchemists cannot produce oil, I also have the problem that rough wraps still need aloe. So it seems I had a few recipes that were still on the old one: /
Are you sure you have no mods installed and your game is updated to the latest version? Check if you have any modlist.txt in this folder and if you do, rename it or delete it and verify the game files.
