Pet kills Cobras - they disappear into the ground

So, when a pet kills a Cobra, they disappear into the dessert sands, quite often.
(The area before the Artisan/Statue of Mitra)

Funny, sometimes it looks like the pet, Hyena, eats it… but essentially it ‘sinks’ into the ground.
