Player dying of heat since 1.40 update

since the update yesterday i have died multiple times of extreme heat. this despite me being completely unclothed. this is happening in areas where there are no heat issues to worry about. drinking water negates it for a couple of minutes and if you just let it go you will be dead within a few minutes. i have attempted to twice log off the game and come back in. no good, still died despite not even being in the game.

another thing: the rubber banding effect is out of control lately. official pve-c server #3522. ps4-pro

Steps on how to reproduce issue:

  1. take all clothes off
  2. wait 5 minutes
  3. start to panic
  4. die

Do you have a fireplace or furnace nearby?
As I posted earlier on the forums this items are now producing volcanic levels of heat!

ahhhhh. that could be it. i have 3 improved furnaces. i feel trapped in the base because i’m afraid to go out geared up and potentially die. thing is my base is several stories tall and it will kill me up top as well. thanks for the feedback!
