Can War paint get a repair option, instead of a timer? or at least a longer time

I’d like Tattoo’s to be implemented, as a permanent, more expensive version of warpaints.
I wouldn’t mind spending alchemical bases, ash and using obsidian needle for such.
This way a player feels more invested in one’s own life, as opposed to bed hopping like life doesn’t matter.
