So i got bugged into a boss’s leg in the open world, died and my thrall wasnt “scouting” when i got back.
Six hours later the event log says he returned home, and the proximity settings have him ~590 units away. The problem is it’s clearly not at my base, and I have no idea how the proximity units translates to the actual map units.
Can someone please help me so I can track my thrall down? Also, how can the server know it returned to spot “x” but there isn’t a function for me to ‘ping’ or otherwise identify ‘x’ in the game. Please add this feature, this is a nightmare.
I know the rule of the thumb is the last place you had him set to guard, but i set them to guard all the time as i frequently have to log in and out and don’t want them running off so I can start where i left off when I logged out. This means he could literally be anywhere.
You could try backtracking the path you took with your thrall from the place you died. He’s likely hanging around somewhere along that route if you set him to guard on your way.
10,000 covers the entire map plus some. But i think each grid is in the 400 area. So he is about 1 squares in any direction. So change the setting to @200 and move around where you pinged him at 590. It is a game of hide and seek. Once you ping him at 200, reduce again to 100. rinse-repeat until you find him
Witch Queen to Mounds of the Dead lol, but definitely appreciate the response!
Very frustrating as its a T4 Bearer, not like a fighter or an archer thrall that I could easily replace. I’ve seen just this one in the last 100 hrs of play.
Also, if you haven’t had the good fortune of having a T4 Bearer, and are lucky enough to find one, grab that sucker cause they’re amazing.
