Bug Description:

Game crashes and goes to Xbox home after pressing any button on the main menu. Cannot play online or single player, unable to access setting. Game will also crash after NOT touching buttons in main menu after about 2 mins.

Bug Reproduction:

Start game, watch cutscene, Main menu loads, press LITTERALY ANY BUTTON on/in the main menu, game crashes back to Xbox home

Additional Notes:

I have attempted several fixes, they include:

– uninstalling and reinstalling

– Clearing Xbox Cache

– Removing local saved Data

– Soft resetting Xbox

– Hard resetting Xbox

– Factory resetting Xbox

– attempting to wait for long periods of time for game to load (max waited was 48 hours consecutively)

– repeated attempts in the hopes of a different outcome (max consecutive string was 85)

I do have DLC for this game being:

– Isle of Siptah

– Stormglass Sanctum (purchased from Bazaar)

I ask that you please help me, I’ve been unable to play this game for a very long time and still very much want to despite the issues. Here is a link to my previous post (which went unanswered, but the issue got fixed with an update) Please help me:

this is still happening. uninstall and reinstall has been retried after update.

Do you get any error codes when the game crashes? Also try loading up the game on a different profile as well as deleting and re adding your gamertag. Xbox Support

@Asta-of-the-ice could you, please, answer the following questions so we can share it with our development team as well?

  • Did you encounter the crash in other apps or just Conan Exiles?

  • Did you deleted Conan Exiles saved data from cloud?

  • Did you updated your Xbox to the latest Xbox OS updates?

Thanks again for responding, here’s what I have!

  • I’ve only encountered the crash in Conan Exiles.
  • I have NOT deleted cloud data, for fear of losing Stormglass Sanctuary.
  • My Xbox is fully up-to-date on everything.

Hey thanks for the feedback, but no. I’ve gotten no error codes on crash. I’ve simply been booted back to Xbox home. Additionally, this happens regardless of profile or Xbox (I’ve tried to install and play on a friend’s to see if it was just my Xbox). I will have to try removing my gamertag and re-logging in again. I’ll update later on if it worked.

Could be a corrupted save. You can safely nuke your cloud save, you’ll lose your build, character and thralls and have to start over. You will NOT lose Bazaar, Battlepass (tied to FLS) or dlc purchases
