Please help! My character changed on its own

Server Name: My gamer tag is IcyEquinox. Not sure if single player servers have numbers or names.

Bug Description:

I loaded in as a man and my character is a woman. I lost all of my gear. I had thrall on the wheel of pain that was a female dancer, she is now a man that looks exactly like the man my character is right now. Can you please put my original female character back with all her gear please.

Bug Reproduction:

I was playing this morning, logged out of the server and then exited the game and turned off my ps5. I came back home this evening loaded Conan exiles and logged in as a partially naked man!

Sorry that I can not help you here. That’s the first time I read that something like this can happen. but I think it’s related to the threads about that characters got reset in their progress. Sometimes even with losing the ownership of their buildings. Something is going on with the local save files.

New player with offline single player issues

New player here and my searches haven’t helped me much. Two days in a row I’ve lost progress and items with the offline single player portion of this game and am unsure as to the cause. Both times items on the quick wheel (the one accessible via the left bumper) are gone. Various portions of the small base I made are also missing without rhyme or reason I can tell. I close the game via in game menu at night and the very next day these issues surface. Am I missing something very critical her…

Maybe this can help to locate the issue for the devs.
Unfortunately I don’t think there is a way to switch the characters back. But you can use the orb of nergal to recreate your character.

And a good tip from Croms_Faithful in the linked thread is to backup your savefile on usb.

Does this character switch affect any other things of your game? Everything OK with your attributes, knowledge or receipts you learned?
Maybe you switched also one of this stats with the thrall in your wheel?

Perhaps you play on 2 different servers? One as female and the other as male.
Load by mistake the wrong one?

Welcome to the Forum. Ok I assume you are playing offline? This is a strange one l am going to guess your new male character longish white hair it is sorta default character in game when NPC,S are admin in. Funcom is not going to be able to fix your current problem. However I will send out a message to @Community hopefully they have insights @IcyEquinox

PS5 sauvegarde solo problem

Same here. I play on ps5. And this is not one off issue. It happened to me after few days of playing again. Deleted some of my thralls from wheel of pain. Some items from inventory went missing, sone blueprints disappeared. The last one was even funnier. It changed my gender. Sorry to say, I do not know if you can solve it. Reported it, but no response. The game is in a very bad spot. I have played it for about 3k hours and this game was never this bad.

Another thread about it and the last one has the same problem.

Thats a good point I forgot about it. But I think that should not change the players character.

Funny is that this default char looks exactly like my character and that was funny when my friends and I saw it the first time years ago

All of my knowledge and attribute stats are what they should be. However, my journeys have been reset. Should I just restart on an online private server?

Yes, I’m playing offline. And it is a male with white straight hair to his shoulders. I’m back on this morning and funny thing is my thrall disappeared from the wheel. When I interact with the wheel it seems that it’s just a loot item and I can’t do anything further. Should I just restart on an online private server?
I honestly would t want this to happen again if it is something to do with a saved data issue.

If you can find a private server you are comfortable with it would probably be better. My wife and I play on official and private.
