Happy Birthday @darthphysicist !!!
I’m having a little trouble with the English, but the way I see things is maybe different.
- The
new rulesnew enforcement policies are fairly easy to understand. - The ability to play within those rules and not get slapped by the new enforcement policies is achievable by 98 or 99% of players.
- Of those one or two percenters there is a small minority who come here to complain. Maybe 10 people per month - and as the mods have suggested, some of them are indeed duplicate accounts.
- It’s human nature that anytime there is a perceived problem some people will kick into high gear trying to come up with solutions.
- A parts cap seems like an obvious solution until you run the thought model very far - and then it’s shown to cause more problems than it would solve.
- People wanting to be controlled because they can’t control themselves are free to join private servers with such limits in place or run their own servers where no FC policies exist.
