I’ve noticed a patch for game crashing that I never experienced, but the “next week” deadline for healing thralls has come and gone. It’s now next week, with only a couple days of this week left. Honestly, a bit of lag, texture drops, slight fps drops are all acceptable on launch day. A [or should I say THE] main mechanic of the game, the one that ensures you can continue playing the game, being utterly broken on launch, and for a week after, is not acceptable. Sub-par job you’ve done on this one guys.The lag and fps and gasp long load times, are not BREAKING the game, whereas hours spent on thralls the get one shotted by monsters that I can one shot, is breaking the game. Purge doesnt care that you wanted us to load the barren ground where my base was faster, and neither do I. Im fine with a 90 second loading screen, and anyone whos not a child should be too, especially in a game like this where the map can be transformed by players overnight. For the love of god, prioritize these issues properly, dont swing at the low hanging fruit. Fix the thing that is effecting the whole player base, not the stuff a FEW people experienced sporadically. And fix it fast, like somewhere in the timeframe you gave us.
Steps on how to reproduce issue:
1.Play the game
2.Break a thrall
3.Attempt to have that thrall enter combat
4.See results, repeat ad infinitum

I agree with your concerns wholeheartedly. And with the recent patch only addressing crash issues and minor bugs, it worries me that the issue with thrall HP regeneration may not be high on their priority list of fixes. I’m going to wait a few more days before I make space for a game with more complete functionality.

Yeah I was really hoping they would have the thralls fixed as Funcom said they would. I have a couple friends who want to play on a rented server but I can’t advise them to get the game in its current state. Thralls bring a pretty big part of this game they’re mostly unusable

It is indeed ridiculous, that a core part of the whole core experience is broken AF. I don’t care about bigger servers, or full nudity or every little bug that the majority of the salty grieving far to young to play this game kiddos complain about. I want the core experience to be fixed. I will leave the game for at least two months to come back and see if i finally can play without having to waste my time on taming thralls and see them getting one shotted or not even functioning at all. This is among many of the core experience breaking points were in my opinion Funcom drops the ball and they need to step up their game.

I agree. I really don’t care about little bugs such as nudity not working, or not being able to place the odd bit of building somewhere.
It’s worse they said it would be fixed this week. I didn’t expect a 14 gig update fixing everything. Just a hotfix so thralls heal for now would at least be something. It was mentioned it would be fixed this week but that deadline is pretty much done. Just shrugged it off and said maybe late next week there will be a big patch after dropping the PC update. No other contact besides that.
