Hey guys, I’m new to Conan Exiles been playing for 3 weeks and have come across a few things that worry/confuse me.
So I’m playing with another person, we both had a Wheel of Pain he had a lvl 3 taskmaster and I had a lvl 2, one night we both logged off at the same and got on the next day to find his lvl 3 taskmaster in my WoP not sure how this happened I’d say someone wanted my thralls and move his taskmaster over to help speed it up.
A few days later I had an animal pen with 4 different animals and my WoP with 4 thralls, I found all thralls and animals gone I looked around my base and found them all a short distance from my base bunched up except one thrall was missing and one animal was named. I couldn’t interact with them, they wouldn’t attack me and all they had above their names were “guarding”.
I also found some thralls in one of my benches which I never had before, which all my benches are enclosed in my home. So is this just a glitch or is someone messing with me?
I’m playing on an official server PVP PS4. I’m starting to understand why people enclose all their stuff if I’ve been robbed.
on pvp servers your stations are open to everyone. only the chests can be locked. check the event log for any entries but it is very likely that someone is just trolling you and taking what they need
funny thing happened to me today, I knocked out some thrall, went to go finish of his comrades, came back and he was gone! Well I went all over looking for him. I am wondering if someone was watching me and just tied up the unconscious thrall and dragged him away. Had me scratching my bald head!
Ohh and I have lost pets from the pen also (and I have it in a pretty hard to get to place, spend a lot of time time to secure it). Wheels of pain are the same, a small one can go inside easily.
If I recall correctly the event log won’t show if someone takes a pet, only if they take an item, but I could be misremembering. And make sure that ‘Unauthorized Inventory Access’ is checked.
The pet thing being set nearby is pretty common on PVP servers. People open the pen, see they aren’t greater pets so they don’t want them. But they still have an overwhelming desire to be a dick, so they grab them and place them near your base.
Lol, yes I have done that on PVP. I moved someones named taskmaster to their other wheel to speed it up and stole all of the thralls once they finished cooking. They had built the door frame windows and missed putting a fence in one, so I just crouched and slid right into their base. I kind of miss full PVP…
