Possible To Climb Down From Platforms During Combat

Greetings -

I have recently started playing this and I am slowly getting accustomed to the interface and mechanics. I have a problem that I can’t seem to solve it is at all even possible. During combat I cannot climb down from platforms. Once the character ascends a ladder, I cannot seem to figure out how to descend. Is this possible during combat? The character is stuck there for the duration. So, is it possible to climb down?

If You are on a platform your ‘move-marker’ will be on the same level as the platform (floating). Need to lower it to groundlevel to move down from platform.
