[Describe the bug here]
so I get a purge it was finally a good 1 a beast tamer purge. nice chance of getting a 7740 hp thrall clear 1 wave they regroup and it hits server time of ten o clock and sorry purge instantly over. that’s some bull crap seeing how it takes 3 weeks of play to get 1 now!! Not a bug or glitch just bad programers if you don’t have time for the purge based on timers wait till tomarrow wtf!
Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:
1.spawn a purge 15 mins before purge timer stops
The purge mechanic is tied to a set time specified in the server settings. In official servers it’s set to a default timespan between 18:00 and 22:00h, but private servers can adjust it to any setting of their liking. Knowing that, players can adapt to those times.
That being said, we’ll send a suggestion to our team of think of possible solutions for those purges like yours that already started before the timer ended.
Thanks for your feedback.
I suggest implementing a vote system on whether to allow the purge to continue past the normal allotted window. Maybe even expand that to include voting on when the purge starts to begin with
I can’t speak to the system on official servers since I don’t play them, but on a private server and in solo, I have had the same thing happen. The few times that I drove my purge meter over the mark during purge times, it ended (with no warning or indicator) at the set end time for purges.
I learned to assure I was well over the mark before purge time started and that worked for me. Unfortunately, that will not work on an official server. As far as I can see, only 1 purge is active at a time, so, clan A is first, then clan B, then …
So you may be clan E and the purge will start near the end of the allotted time.
I could get behind Golden’s idea; as long as a purge starts within the set timeframe, it continues til it is complete.
BTW, @Ignasi, is the timezone used in the default timespan determined by server location?
Thanks, Ignasis, this clears up a few things. Oddly enough, the Event Log reports in my timezone, even if I am one zone away from the private online server.
