PvE was more fun back when stealing from players was possible

The danger of getting burglarised, as well as the prospect of gaining riches at the expense of the careless, added suspense and excitement to the game. It provided the opportunity for a kind of low-key conflict that wasn’t as devastating as true PvP. It forced us to consider security when designing our bases, but not to the extreme point of having to sacrifice aesthetics. Am I the only one who misses the good old days of non-lethal conflict, or is everyone glad they’re gone?

NOPE… NOT AT ALL. Maybe MAYBE a separate server style for that. but not on every pve server for sure.

We don’t want any trolls thank you. but if they found each other on a different place that’s their problem I don’t mind.

IMO now that it is safe we could build more nice things by left stuff open for instance under a shed or on a porch or balcony…

BUT we would like to have an option to make some stuff public for use in PVE (on will ofc)
Chests/boxes which is on purpose left open trebutcheats so ppl can fire them without the need to build one for their journey… Option to allow public use on doors/gates would be cool.(I am aware of autoclose turned off option but that’s not the same!)

We could allow others (with a “switch”) to use our wheel of pain to brake their thralls…etc (nothing else but functionality they should not be allowed to steal OUR taskmaster or OUR thralls from it) so not each hotspot would be overpopulated if we could create public use stations.

Like maprooms we started to put down publicly accessible maprooms on key areas and it is working like charm as community effort to not clog up all the spaces.

You know PvE stands for Player vrs Environment right?

What you are suggesting is PvP, on PvE servers. Not gonna happen.

Not really.
If someone steals from me I should be able to murder them and feed the corpse to a pack of rabid hyenas.

I don’t want to keep everything inside my house, such as compost bins, beehives, etc, when playing PvE.
