PvP Balance and efficiency

Why Agility and Fists Dominate PvP, While Strength is Obsolete

  • Arsenal Versatility: A vast range of weapons works through the Agility perk tree (including swords, hammers, and two-handers—with maces and two-handed axes being the only exceptions), granting them massive passive damage bonuses.
  • Crushing Power of Fists: Thanks to blistering attack speeds, high mobility, and synergy with Agility perks, fist weapons deal monstrous damage. Factoring in flat bonuses and armor penetration (ranging from 40% to 65% thanks to the “Precision Strike” and “Rolling Thrust” perks), they can melt a character with 700 HP in medium armor in just 4 rapid strikes (in under a second and a half).
  • Breaking Defensive Mechanics: Due to the overwhelming flurry of attacks from fists, defensive skills and regeneration (such as “Blood Feud” from the Vitality tree) physically cannot trigger in time to save the player.
  • The Obsoleteness of Strength: In actual combat, Strength falls completely flat because it relies on slow heavy attacks and long combo animations. Trying to build Strength in the current meta against mobile Agility builds and fists is a guaranteed misplay, as opponents simply won’t give you the time to execute your slower animations.

Balance Request for Fist Weapons:

In their current state, fist weapons combined with Agility turn PvP into a one-sided slaughter. The weapons and penetration mechanics urgently need a nerf or temporary removal, as they completely invalidate tactical gameplay and any defensive builds.
