Based off of current community standards isn’t this against the official server rules against roleplaying? Due to asset management?
So if I were to use your assets and most of what is available on the bazzar, can’t I be banned?
I might suggest going back to paid 12 buck DLCs, because if I built a tavern…That…as I have been advised by some cool people and one sort of annoying forumite is against the rules.
Honestly stop giving us things we can’t use or have fun with and just allow modders to do what they do. I won’t join a private server because I don’t like them. But on official servers you really need to get a grip on your business. Stop giving pretty things that get people banned.
A tavern will no longer be strictly for roleplay. It will be similar to a crafting station, in that it has purpose. You can interact with the barkeep, buy things, purchase thrall contracts, etc.
roleplay was never forbidden on officials, unnecessary buildings (settlements) ARE!
So, if you build tavern inside your base, that’s up to you.
Tavern is crafting station, like wheel of pain.
If you build tavern town - like mini village outside your base, that may cause wipe.
I build animal pens and stables separate from my main base, because they require too much space, officials, never got a wipe.
I think you’ll be ok if it’s a small tavern (a bar, three/four tables).
It will probably be problematic if it is of the size of a wedding reception room though.
Regardless. The OP has a point in that the new tavern denotes a shift in design and that needs to be accounted for in how Officials are managed under the ToS. Not just for us but enforcement teams as well to provide a consistent experience on Officials.
