Question about the "NoOwnership" server setting

So on my private server (PS4), I was going through updating the server settings after the update the other day and noticed this setting. It’s different from the “containers ignore ownership” setting.

The wiki says:

Flagging this means that the ownership rules on the server do [not] exist. This means that all players can loot all chests, use all machines, dismantle all buildings etc.

This would be useful, because then players could open doors in a another player’s structure. We’re looking to do a haunted house later in the year, and this would be pretty great.

However, I’m not clear on a couple things:

  1. How does this affect thralls and thrall inventory access?
  2. Can I revert from this setting and go back to ownership?

I can’t test this on single player / coop, because the setting isn’t available from the game menu. On the private server, I’m editing via the gportal page.

@Battlenun I have had my ps4 server 2 years. I don’t think that setting was always there. I saw it a couple weeks ago. Didn’t mess with it. The ownership you should be able to adjust in game. I played with some settings yesterday in game that would normally require a restart don’t know if it’s intended or not

May make a difference if you are pvpc or pvp or pve

If no one is on the server go into the gportal and experiment.

If I recall correctly, this is the toggle that disallows PVE players from accessing other peoples benches.

If checked anyone can open any unlocked container. you need to lock chests and cupboards manually if you don’t want to let anyone loot them. this ticked is the PVP default, unticked is the PVE default.

It doesn’t apply to doors, doors are always locked to non clan members.
