So, I’m on an unmodded PVE server with friends, and I’m wondering: What happens to thralls and pets following you if you’re very far away from your respawn location and you die?
Do they return to the last place you set them to guard after X amount of time? Or do they stay in the location you died at indefinitely?
I’m sort of attached to my very first feral dog pup, because it got trained into a Greater Feral Dog, and I really don’t want to lose it, or any rank III or named thralls I have on Isle of Siptah.
On another note: Does kitting a thrall out with Heavy Armor increase its survivability? I just hit level 38, and I run with medium armor as I’m still trying to farm enough steel and Thick leather for the paddings.
I figure I can work on making my thrall sturdier while I try to get used to combat again.
In Exiles they should return to the last place they were set to guard . With your feral isn’t carrying any thing valuable do a recall. There is a cooling off period from last battle or recently recalling a. Earlier thrall.
They should return home after 10 min., like on Exiled Lands.
But losing a pet or thrall is still possible, it’s survival after all. There is now a rescure feature, with a cooldown of 48 min. approx. Thralls will lose weapons, armors and all what they carry in inventory. But at least this allows you to “save” your follower. For pets it’s less a problem, they will just lose the food they carry, they don’t have any weapon.
Sure, a good heavy armor is the best for a good thrall. But depends still what you can afford at the given moment. But heavy helps lot for fighters.
Go to your follower-list, chose the missing one, you get a drop-down menu, where you have different choices. You will see.
Don’t forget, there is a cooldown of approx 48 min, so you can’t rescue two followers the same time. And they will lose all stuff.
