Do you have to feed pets in bins anymore every time I try to put food in there they’re not eating or when you try to put it on at them it just disappears
No, you don’t need to feed them, the hunger system was totally removed.
Each food you place in their inventory however will be just instant consumed so be carefull about what you give them to carry for you 
Feeding is now more for buffing pets and thralls, but buffs are only applied when feeding them with the right diet.
Just beware you can no longer use pets to transport food regardless if it is on the preferred food list or not.
Aka elephant will eat raw fish.
Best to transport food on your character.
