Animation cancelling should be a thing like it was in the past.Combat was fun and challenging. It took practice to master. Now its more like: How do i deal with this crappy system.
Combat was in a really good place before they changed the heavy attack on the 2-handed sword.
Bows were less powerfull back then as well.Making it more of a skill weapon to take out a enemy that was running away after getting low hp.
Bow now: 3 hits ure dead or really close to it.
If anything needs changing to the combat system. Its the q-lock on official.
people literally refuse to play the game because of this.i wonder how many bought the gme because it had q-lock.probaly less then 100.It only hides the cheaters better, thats literally the only thing its good for.
Iām sorry that i stopped checking this, but everyone makes good points. Except for donāt try. Iām here reading this after they announced the next update. It wouldnāt take a lot of big changes to make combat better. Will it be perfect? NO, but the cheese was always in the game. It just wasnāt rhe best way to play. It was a way, but ultimately a skilled player would pick rollis apart. Let me make an example. The server that Iām on now. The very first person that i fought recognized my skill lvl vs everyone else that plays there. I was in heavy armor. It not the best anymore, and i know that. I simply said thag heavy armor has always been good. The stam now is the problem. Now even the noobs act like its my first day. Let everyone play how they want, and shape their game. Also tho, you need balance. If nothing counters rolls. Then everyone rolls. If only one armor is great. Then everyone uses that armor. Conan balance shifted years ago to catering to the noobs crying in these very forums. I just hoped to voice an opinion that to me should be very clear for anyone playing a game like this. Meta will always be. Balance is more important than trying to stop the meta. So going forward to me it would be better to strengthen some weaker things. Vs killing off the thinklgs that are strong.
