Please remove the fire globe effect. I believe this to be a major point of lag and crashing on servers, especially on larger bases like mine. I’ll crash every time I go through it. Also, it’s terribly annoying to see. I have one on a second floor of a small store room and it cuts right through the ceiling, making it difficult to see my chests, plus it’s activated every time I enter the room. Is there something that can be done to limit the effects of these and still work. I love them, but they’re annoying. Maybe instead of the flashy stones floating and stuff, we can just get a menu pop up that states locations?
Agreed. I was working around in my base yesterday and if I so much as breathed it seemed that that damn thing was going off. Sure we can turn it off but have to continuously feed it more mats to turn it back on.

Or possibly make is so that the visual effect is only active when your character is physically standing on the stone, rather than in proximity of one. These things are fairly new and need some minor tweaks, but it doesn’t seem difficult to fix this particular issue.

I like the effect a lot, maybe some optimization is required but removing it no… I’m against that idea.
May interfere with my plans to create trap transports that sit precariously atop a very high column just wide enough to support the stone.
Dang i really love those new sorcery effects in the game… if some things need fix and optimization im 100% approve it… but pls dont just remove new cool stuff from the game

I agree, it’s cool, but something needs to be done, plus the fact that I can be UNDERNEATH it at it still triggers. I feel like smaller builds and single tile high rooms are getting harder to build with the introduction of so many giant and elaborate features that are pretty much necessary to do anything. They want us to keep bases minimal on official servers, but they make everything NOT minimal. Something needs to be done to accommodate this. It’s like their art team and their coding team don’t communicate.
While I would love to see some of these changes as I build stealth alot, I have to say I enjoy the negative of this thing booming and lighting up. It gives me the disadvantage of it that can’t just be cleansing brewed away.
That’s not the issue. The issue is the crashes, lag, and how hard it is to see with it on. The corruption is fine.
Have you tried to turn your graphics down?
I mean, if that crashes your game? I have no such problems at all…
I’m on a PS5. If the game doesn’t work right, that’s on Funcom, not my console.
