I can’t say I disagree about the corrupted perk angle there. And to be fair, giving them a bonus based on one of those perks would be very close to satisfying the risk and investment to reward part that I brought up.
Giving up Warparty or Well Trained (and every other perk in Authority) for example could buff the summoned Demon considerably for example, especially since you’re giving up 50% Health and Stamina for it.
I’ve mentioned this in other threads but I’d like to be able to make some sort of fetish that allows me to take control of the demon again once it breaks free. Have it cost the same as summoning a new demon. I don’t mind them being temporary I just wish there was some way to keep them under control for an additional investment. I love the RP of being a corrupted demonologist or necromancer. Undead legion for the win I guess.

Yes but that brings in another topic that pets are severely disadvantaged to the point of decoration. Its not really a fair comparison since pets is another issue of the game.
Well that is the issue with the morality of the game more than anything else. It’s not just mats. Its a human sacrifice. While its all just coding, the moral implications of this isn’t really affected much as far as the mechanic. The small amount of corruption gained from blood sacrifices is the issue.
The issue here is that a T4 thrall leveled to 20 is what compared to Conan? I think the game still has this issue where thralls are still OP and the game and players actually like it that way because everyone complains about how weak they now are. I can still get a level 20 beserker to take down a dragon without the well trained perk. Are you saying the summoned demon should be akin to the red mother as far as stats go?
So the problem with summoned demons from my POV is
1)Follower issues make it near impossible to create something that would balance out well for the game since the game direction with followers isn’t exactly clear.
2) The means of summoning a being from hell has a level of apathy and minimal game world effects for what you are actually doing.
I think we need a full age of the follower for FC to snap out of it and take it a bit more seriously vs this patchwork quilt approach.

These need to all be taken into consideration in revising a system so that it just flows better.
