We have braved the exiled lands, managed to survive, hone our skills as both warriors and leaders of men. By Crom’s blessing we have built a thriving fishing community to rival those found across the known world! We have built mighty forges, impenetrable fortresses to secure our valuables, temples to venerate the gods and taverns to slake our thirsts.
However, In all the land we have yet to find a carpenter or skilled craftsman capable of building a simple rowboat!
A good fishing village should have several such sturdy vessels available to set out the nets and bring in the day’s catch. Sadly, that is not the case.
In my travels I came across such a vessel. A vessel that indeed would satisfy our need!
On a beach, just outside the great Lemurian city is a rowboat that will transport a person to the sunken city.
It is precisely that vessel we wish to obtain.
By Crom! And, your benevolent hand, I would request that this boat be added to the bazaar for purchase, either as a craftable item in an artisan or carpenter’s bench or by our building hammer.
Below is an image of the vessel we wish to acquire.
Thank you and may the Gods smile upon your efforts.
I’d actually would like to see actual ships…they are in the files too.
In fact a whole “Age” themed around water:
-expansion with islands and naval warfare
-killable fish and fishing/spear fishing
-boat travel
etc.
what funny is that atlas , has an almost simialr game engine version was able to achieve this and gave us actual boats and proper ways to have fun on sailing. I truly believe if conan exiles are to survive the new landscape of newer tech , newer games … they gotta go bold and give us proper Master to slave clusters , with ships. After all Conan is a pirate
What a wonderful post, luved it, and I could’nt agree more I have often wondered why there are no boats in the exile lands or siptah given the nature and the theme of the maps.
On a side note my friend plays on a pve-c official server and told me he was making a boat I just thought a small sort of thing but boy was I surprised, his tp’s were boats his main base was a huge boat with mast, sails and even a crow’s nest
I was in awe tbh the time and creative mind that went into making this is amazing, I thought I would just share the pics here.
The pictures do not really do his ship justice as he has multiple levels, bars disco, he is boat mad and wanders around with his pegleg and hook , whilst this did not really work for him when he was playing pvp on this server he is in his element, it is wonderful to see, and yes I agree, you need boats lots of boats.
For some reason I read that title as a request to add roundabouts to the bazaar.
Good thing it wasn’t because that would be serious pay to win. Plop one of those things in front of your base and there ain’t no way a purge is gonna find it’s way inside.
No, I don’t think it exists anywhere in the files directly. A couple different mods do add it, but if it was admin-spawnable that wouldn’t be necessary.
It’s unfortunate because I think having boats would be a great idea! I love living on water and having docks or ports.
Personally, this one would prefer if the Bazaar was reserved for new assets.
The ability to learn how to craft and place decorative dingies would be appreciated for the base game. As the asset is already in game, it should not be additionally monetized.
To compliment that, they may add more lake themed accessories or a fancier boat to the Bazaar.
We have so many pirate outfits, and a build set, but placeables is notably thin
I realize it exists. It has a hit box and you can interact with it. I just think since it is not included in the vanilla game, it would be a nice additional item and something that is sorely lacking.
A rowboat, canoe, something. I felt since the item already exists, the texture has already been developed, it would be an easy win for everyone, cross platform as a bazaar item.
I play on and pay for a private Xbox server and I have not found a way to run any sort of mod on GPortal. Although, I haven’t searched for a way extensively.
If money is no object, then why not buy a PC, install Conan there and get any of the mods that make it and more available?
Also, if mods add it, it does exist in the dev kit.
It is an in game asset. It’s just not available for players to craft or spawn, like the Darfari tents.
Further, mods generally cannot touch premium content from the Bazaar, ect.
Which is a very interesting situation if they retroactively take something away from a slice of players to then sell it back to all players.
The equitable solution is to make it available for all.
You are asking that PC players lose access to an item in the dev kit, that they may have mods to enable.
This one is entirely in favour of having more cosmetics available at the Bazaar. And especially for nautical themes.
But something already in game should instead have in game ways to learn it.
This one will explain.
Age of War added numerous Stygian outfits.
Some are included in the base game, such as the Vanguard, Others were premium content at the Bazaar, such as Commander.
This boat, should be made available as a base game inclusion.
While other shinier craft or accessories would make an excellent compliment in the Bazaar.
Such a great request, I have been considering asking for a decore item one of those Stygian ships from Isle of Siptah, did not think it would see much daylight until I saw this post.
Felucca are so nice
We used those for fishing where this one lives, in days before the canneries.
While this one has other “Ages” on their priorities list…
Conan was a Pirate.
The Hyborian Age featured everything from canoes to galleons.
Having an Age of Piracy or an Age related to these sorts of stories would be grand. Perhaps a chapter of the Age of Discovery or Exploration or what have you.
But this one must stress that having more such placeables is entirely supported, and the lack of such placeables is a glaring emptiness.
Especially when we consider both maps have a full pirate faction.
