The situations you speak of are for games that outright state it. They usually explain it in the form of “season pass gives access to ALL season dlc”.
Many times this is the case also of multiple seasons within a year. Normally, they have 3 to 4 seasons per year, making it have multiple season passes. Rarely does a season last half a year (2 seasons a year) and even rarer, as is with Conan Exiles, to have 1 season last the whole year.
In this case however, it clearly does not state that all DLC within the year will be included in the season pass. Its a season pass, what content goes into it is up to the developers. It is not a “every dlc pass”. Know what I mean?
And since they describe the exact DLC that it will include, which is 4, then you can expect anything else outside of those 4 to be extra DLC.
For all we know we might get a summer DLC as well with some small things added, a winter one, a Halloween one, idk, its up for grabs at this point. Maybe this is the only one we get outside those 4.
Whatever the case may be however, anything outside those 4 mentioned DLC’s is not included in the season pass.

Since this was a small pack, I was also thinking that they might be planning on releasing the rest of that content we all crave for in coming DLC or events, or multiple anniversaries. Who knows.

When you bought the season 2 pass it listed what you got. this is seperate, and not a “full dlc”, but more of a special edition. If you didn’t read what you were paying for, then that is on you.
On a side note, I have this land in Florida, just sign the lease and don’t read the fine print.

You are right the devs are greedy so easy it is in this case.
You have buy a Season Pass not a Dlc Pack so you shoul get all Dlcs released in this Season.
This was a bad move of the devs and they will lose alot because of it.
Or get all DLC’s listed as part of the pass when you purchased it. It was not a bait and switch or anything devious. They listed 4 DLC’s for the season 2 pass, the first 4 were packaged for a discount. This is not a full fledged DLC, but more of a collectors item for those that want the decor, and was never advertised to be part of what you pay for with the pass.

Look at Fortnight. My son buys the season pass, but that does not give him access to everything published during the season. Think of all the outfits, emotes, etc…
I buy the season pass for Call of Duty. It gives me access to the maps, some COD points, and maybe a special weapon and or camo. It doesn’t give me access to all of the special weapons, camo, gear, etc associated with the season. I either have to hope to earn it or buy it.
Now I know those games are more micro transaction based, but I think you can see that season passes do not mean everything is included.
Funcom tried to add something special to celebrate the one year anniversary. It’s not a full DLC, nor is it a new race or region. It pays homage to our favorite character Conan.
So get it or don’t, but don’t begrudge them for trying to do something nice.

Look no one is forcing you to buy the dlc. From a game point of view it’s not needed. If you’re this upset don’t buy it. If you play on xbox I’ll be glad to make you any of the items when the dlc drops.
