Sandstone megaset is missing components

Hi, I just bought the sandstone mega set that rotated today in the bazaar and there is no wedge with wooden floor as it should (I guess)

Due the stupid rule of not allowing new accounts to upload images, here’s the link to the image Sem-t-tulo hosted at ImgBB — ImgBB

You just need to spend a little time on Forum so it realizes you are not a bot. @

Also, can’t seem to find the hearth.

The original set never included wedge versions of the wooden floors from the original sandstone set(1 or 2?), also they never made an inverted staircase set which Funcom supposedly had promised would be added later, I somehow doubt it will happen this many months later it apparently has been added since

It is a basegame item which has always been in the game, you have to spend feat points to unlock it then you can craft it in artisan bench

That’s so dumb lmao
Welp, at least with the release of this new set, we can call them out and make them add it.

Btw, there are 2 staircases in this bundle, I dunno if you noticed. Is that what you were saying that they didn’t do?

Oh so they did add it in later, I just remember people saying that it was missing in the original set… My bad

We have a “new” set of stairs but not inverted wedge if that’s what you mean! This however is a “minor” in front of the total wedge absence of this set. With the “new sandstone set” you cannot fix anything else than square buildings. Square is not bad, but you need to be a really good builder to create something fantastic, or an architect. The wedge pieces made the common mortal builders look good :man_shrugging:. So the absence of “triangles” is sensory !

No I mean a left and right version of the L-shaped stairs, and I just checked the set in the bazaar and while they only show right staircase, they seem to have added one that points left too

Am I missing something or is it only the wedge part of the wooden foundations and ceilings that are missing?
Yes it would have been great with these, but there are so many other wooden surfaces in the game that could work as wooden flooring, it would be great to have them, however I could easily find other ways to do it, also the ordinary wedge pieces is still there in base game
The L-shaped staircase however is unique, so having both a left and right version is a must, but I wouldn’t mind if they had been wooden instead of sandstone… Never really like the look of stone on such a staircase, I prefer them to be wooden, but hey, that is just my preference

Thing is, this set is supposed to be tier 1 building, so yes, there are other wooden floor and wedges in the DLC’s, but they are tier 3.

A much more reasonable price for the set. Though the lack of wedges is pretty bad. So much for bay windows and fancy balconies @Marylambs

Yes most are T3 building pieces mostly from dlc, but there is also the T2 insulated wood from basegame and the T1 wooden pieces from dlc Isle of Siptah, still I agree that it should be in this set since all other floor and foundation pieces have both wedge and square for each material

The rough timber is beautiful, but like @LostBrythunian said some time ago it’s not complete and i totally agree!

Not only this. You have internal walls (same both sides) , arched wall passage 2 foundation wide and one height, chimney system with smoke, lattice door and door frame 2 walls height, functional windows that open and close and many others. These sets were fantastic, simply fantastic :star_struck:. Just this minor detail… Makes you wonder… It could be PERFECT, COMPLETE!!! WHY?
Only they know i guess, nobody else :man_shrugging:!
For the record, no matter the money i paid for these sets, i have no regrets and if i will buy the game again, these items would be the first to buy, no matter the prize.
I really hope they will do something similar on tier 2 as well :pray:t6:

They should detach the tier system from appearance. You should be able to build every style in tier 1 - 4 levels.

I believe this change is big and not easy to be done! I personally do not care if something is vulnerable or not on purges. I won’t speak for pvp, i don’t care anymore. For pve i enjoy the situation that i have weak - vulnerable constructions! It’s role play and i like it. I don’t feel bad if i loose something in a purge, i like it, purges give excitement to the game and building low tier, no matter the loss the taste is good. Once i remember i was not ready for a cimmerian berserker purge in the mount of the dead, i did a lot mistakes through the purge and they left me literally nothing, they destroyed everything! It’s still is my best purge ever… Go figure :rofl::rofl:.

It is actually super easy, barely an inconvenience. All they gotta do is to change the .mfb of each component to an array of .mfb and you can choose between the options. Or they could just change each component to have variable HP and just change that to whatever it is each level’s HP.

Still no wedges.
Still frustratingly limited in use.
Premium cosmetic content that one cannot match the aesthetics of the whole floor or roof. It’s only purpose is to be cosmetic and it is impossible to fully match a build unless it is diminished.
Very sad.

I feel that Funcom sometimes does some really odd things with their add on content. This isn’t the first time. For example, the derketo curtains have only one side. Like, when am I going to only place one curtain and not the other one? It seems they “forget” certain details and rarely can be bothered to go back and fix it. I’m still awaiting that other curtain after all this time. I doubt we’ll ever see it. Hopefully this doesn’t apply to wedges or the latrine that was actually suppose to be present.

This one would also like to see lattice sloped walls.
The Latrine is a known bug.
This one is under the understanding that the lack of wedges in the set was, like the lack of sloped walls in the stable set, a conscious decision.

As for the curtains, can they still not be rotated and snapped? Ayesh.

You’re not alone with that thought, I was also like where is the other part of that curtain when I got the derketo dlc, also I was wondering why did the chug beer emote have a silent burp, however this got fixed not so long ago, so there is still hope that they fix/add some logical missing parts to dlc and other sets
