There is no reason to build at all in this game. Building is a key feature of this game because people choose it to become one over time. To fill the void, to challenge themself, to be creative and share that creativity with others etc. pp. And they choose the spots that fits most for what they are looking for.
What game would Conan be when the designers would gave you all those beautiful spots to enjoy and cherrish just to make them all a no building zone. People in games are drawn to water and green places. That is why the north became popular and the oasis too and its also one reason people build quit a lot in the starter area. Its cool to build a base in the desert or mountains once in a while but at the end of the day people always come back to grass and water.
You are a Richard too if you believe that other people only have the right to build where they do not disturb you.
If you think that someone is blocking content or violating the tos your free to report them.
Its not necc. to make a part of the map a no building zone for everyone just because of some people violating tos.
Because you do not act as if it is a request but a demand.
“Save the oasis of Nekhet” this is literally a very inflammatory headline implying that immediate action by the developer is required.
If you would have wanted it to be a request you would have choosen a headline that states its a request.
At the end it all burns down to that you want something that most people disagree with and you are to stubborn to accept that your view is not shared. Instead you take a swing at everyone who is not agreeing and start a fight.
You didn’t manage to show us enough reasons to why the oasis should become a no building zone and you try to hide it by going after people with nonsense post.
Sorry to say it, you should already know I am not someone who is not holding back just to be polite.

Honestly last time I was there I was thinking I wish there were more open build zones like this area.
Wouldn’t support banning the building zone.
like I said above. You are leashing out. Your answer to my post is the proof. You have no other arguments other then:
- bases look ugly, are too big for my taste and block content so I don´t want them there
I rather complain about those bases that obviously violate the tos and demand a no build zone instead of reporting. And because I have no other arguments I leash out at people that do not agree.

When I build near the oasis, I tend to build the bulk of it on the dried lake bed and have a small, aesthetically pleasing pool that barely elevated above the water. Doesn’t despawn the animals or the trees

This thread is about a no build zone around the oasis, not the size of some ones base. If some one spent time finding where I complained about the size of megabuilds, they wasted that time. Because that has nothing to do with the subject of the thread.

Not really… the context is still relevant because they’re utilizing all of your previously stated opinions at their disposal to back their argument. They didn’t specify when you mentioned and you didn’t specify where they needed to quote. You’re basically saying at this point that if you didn’t say it here, your opinions elsewhere that pertain to similar content are irrelevant. Unless you have stated that those are no longer your opinions due to changes in your outlook, they are still ammunition to be used against you. You can’t fault someone for being diligent in their research and then say they wasted their time. That’s an empty argument, man. It’s just a lazy response. This is done all the time when gathering evidence against someone in legal battles as well as debates. You can’t possibly say that doesn’t apply here. It’s all written in stone and easy to find. You built a case against yourself and now you’re getting mad that it was used against you.
I honestly don’t care about any of this THAT much, but I can still call a BS response when I see one.
