Not all of us, those those of us who are to incompetent to do actual reading and or research and depend on “easy”. You know, the ones who were already dumb as fvck to begin with.
Which, sadly, is becoming more and more common. At least in certain areas.
Off topic but US education standards dropped like a rock with the no child left behind act. So you end up with kids graduating high school that are effectively illiterate.
No Child Left Behind was replaced by Every Student Succeeds in 2015 which, coincidentally or not, was when literacy rates began declining.
The never ending argument about who’s to blame aside, which is simply a way of avoiding having to actually do anything about the issue, children are the foundation of the future and if the collective we don’t pull our heads out regarding making sure that foundation is stable and strong… Well, good luck.
