Actually read all of her text on a playthrough, and there’s a bit of brutalization of the English language there with things like “I will indulge you curiousity” and “are you supersticious”. I’d also suggest that commas can actually be a good thing. 
Well, she is a pirate… butchering the standard vernacular wouldn’t be out of character.
Better not let her hear you criticize her, lest ye be eggsacuted!

I tend to notice weird stuff like that. For example, the shipment log in Buccaneer’s Bay lists items but uses the wrong notation. Instead of commas or periods, it uses apostrophes (e.g.: 1’000 iron bars) which I don’t think any locale actually uses for a thousands separator.
