But personally I have the impression that both, the size and the location, do not give rise to a ban. Are the structures built by me and my mates of my clan large? Yes. Are they too big? I don’t think so, because I know that there are significantly more players on the servers with much larger structures. At the same time, my clan makes sure that no spawn points are blocked and no resources are covered - things like trees and stones left out for now. But in the end you’re right maybe, if someone really wants to see it as a reason for a ban, then of course you can always interpret it that way. My intention is rather that I hope to animate other players to build visually nice buildings on the official servers and not to reserve the good looking things only for the solo savegames or private servers.

As far as I know , it has been clearly stated several times that size per se is not an issue.
The problem arises if the buildings are just “decorative” - i.e. they have no other intention than to take up space and server memory (I was careful about this when I built it, and every building in the screenshots I put here HAS a purpose and is not just a decoration).
This is a common problem , even on our server it is not hard to find a palace that is 99% empty.
But the problem with size as such can occur when you are making a fifth line of round walls (on a PVE server) half a sector from the base itself.
the fact is that the rules are so vague that I am never sure if I am breaking something , not to mention the famous inconsistency of admin decisions where you can just be unlucky. …
although it’s unpopular I would agree with some fixed land claim , like 10x10 for every 10 levels (I could probably fit in that) or some hardcap which is a common practice in similar MP games (Fallout 76, Once Human etc)

PS I’d also be careful about revealing where I’m building and I’d definitely leave it out if it’s another player’s build

It’s a share your shelter topic and @Beharion is doing really good for sharing.
I really hope you and your classmates won’t feel fear and your respect to the landscape is obvious. Play your game m8, care not what others do or what rules may say, as long as you and your clan is active and enjoy the game you do nothing wrong.
If you stop playing, let everything decay and you’ll never get the hammer.
I have played official since 2019. I have builded alone and with clans big enough. But i let decay also when the server had nothing to give me anymore and i created a new character in another.
I don’t believe i was never reported, but i surely never got banned.

… I remember this was my first building on this server that I built using a tier 3 tileset. That was before the first Battle Pass - then the very first Battle Pass came out, and the upper level fence was immediately replaced with the Arcane Reinforced Wall Rim. But, well, my clan is shrinking, the two players from my clan to whom I later gave the Khitan building as a personal base are now inactive and now hopefully some beginner will be happy about the potential building spot.
