Is that still a viable thing or no? I haven’t done it in over a year and I haven’t seen anyone else do it either. Can shelves still support chests so we can have walls that have storage in them? How stable is it if it’s still an option? I remember it wasn’t that stable and people lost stuff here and there when server reset happened
Last time I checked, it was still possible to use the “leapfrogging” method. I can’t play right now, so I can’t check if it still works, but I’ll try to remember to check later today.
From what I read in another thread, if you put a bowl on top of the bottom chest you can put another on top of the bowl. I’ve only heard this though, I have never tried it.

The bowl is not really needed for stacking chests. It just helps to line up the top chests to the one benefe.
There was a time in Conan where you could stack chest perfectly one over another but this got changed. So if you try to stack chests now the one on top always needs to be placed slightly shifted to the side, so you end up with having kind of a zickzag pattern.
The bowl is helping with that.
