Shield attakc is bugged

Shield Attack’s is bugged.
Shield is not attacking.
Why shield’s has dmg and AP, if on shield hit DMG is calculating ONLY from Weapon, not the Shield?

Simple example,
Yog’s touch deal ~125 DMG heavy attack, 2nd attack with shield will deal same damage, but shield can have 10 dmg and 0 AP.

Shields can use poison, but attack with shield can not poison target. When NPC attack in shield, he can be poisoned, but players almost never get posion from the attack in to the shield
