Bug Description:
Shields nolonger carried on back since update?
Bug Reproduction:
In single player game and in beta sandbox, shields slip to the “belt” or Tushy postion and are now worn as bottom protection? Animation for putting shield on back is correct, it then jumps to cover backside.
I note that on your screenshot, you use a mod, some of the mods may be installed on your game be the cause of this phenomenon.
I could not help you because I play on PS5 and I do not know anything in computer science or in moding, but some people on this forum could do it if you tell us the list of your mods.
Could you please list the mods you’re using, besides the obvious minimap that’s been outdated for 3 years and sticks the old journey interface on your screen
Otherwise you can also attach a game log, which contains those too (ConanSandbox\Saved\Logs\ConanSandbox.log)
No, the minimap is unrelated, it was just the obvious on-screen thing to show us that this is a modded game (FYI “works” is very subjective as you can see it puts the old journey interface back on the screen that was removed in Age of Sorcery Chapter 3 - the one that says Climb, Drink, Eat, which shouldn’t be there - it also has several other bugs, like the configuration menu getting stuck onscreen if you ever use it etc. and at one point in time it sometimes rarely used to cause crashes in multiplayer. Basically it’s been abandoned by the author several years ago, which is why I made an alternative )
However… that will ofc not impact your shields
Don’t worry, I’m not that slow… got them in time… Was just trying to get to the bottom of it…
So… let’s talk about the other 54 mods you have loaded…
Several of them are outdated and some contain outdated copies of critical game files which have since been changed.
This actually contains a couple of fewer mods than your initial one.
In any case… I apparently wasted a bunch of time, since based on your video the answer is very obvious… should’ve thought about that I guess…
You have the ingame sheathing disabled… which is a simple option in the settings… and what you’re actually seeing is the sheathing from Fashionist, which most likely has some configuration options for it.
