The title says it all I would love to see a legendary short sword or three in the game.

Is there not one? I’ve never crafted or used a short sword, which actually breaks my own advice, but I just assumed the legendary items would include all variety of weapons. If there isn’t one there should be.
I don’t even think they or the 2H ax do any debuffs either. Yes, need legendary versions.

AFAIK, the only 2H axe with debuff is scythe of thag with bleeding. But, I’m not the leading expert on special items like that, so if I’m wrong, I welcome correction.
Probably true, as i can’t the RNG gods to help me on that lol.
I agrre Lear55. Two-handed Battleaxes too! I would also like to see NPCs start to wield them in combat for some additional combat variety and challenge.

Yes these weapons need to be reworked, they seem utterly useless right now, especially the short swords. Less damage, no debuffs, worse attack pattern and no legendary ones, they are just worse than normal swords in every single way.
The two handed axe feels bad as well, should have far more attack patterns, similar to the two handed mace weapons, spinning around in a circle non stop looks just… weird.
Put a balanced weapon fitting on it and put points into grit, you can spin for days. The only thing that can stop you is a shield.
Rather they need to be deleted
I do love the attacks on short sword, there needs to be an legendary version of it. Bring it on.
Why limit options though? I haven’t verified it, but I have seen reports that short sword is one of the most effective against the Arena Champion.

I have a legendary short sword of Khari design, it is absolute garbage even with the +5 STR & +5 VIT, I forget what damage bonus it has. But like I said, it’s garbage.
The same with great axes too. By the way if you collect legendary swords you will notice that they are the most in the game. Swords are too many, second comes the daggers and then the rest. The funny thing is that are the less used weapons in conan and they have the greatest collection. I want to believe that in the next dlc someone will give you a legendary short sword. Legendary Great axe you take from the khari final boss, still it’s not enough i think. Plus one last thing, give heavy attacks to the predatory blade, only light has no point, it is damaging the same with others and raize the damage of the venom infused weapons, it is pathetic.

Plus i tottaly agree with your opinion about short swords, their is i don’t like to play, or i don’t play short swords, nothing of both makes them useless. I try all the weapons, i love the axe combo, still sometimes axe is no good than hammer or mace. But i enjoy playing with axe, that doesn’t make it better than the others.

Same, although as I said in earlier in the thread, I’ve yet to craft or use a short sword. I hate maces, but in my current playthrough I’m trying to use one just to improve my abilities and become more versatile. I should force myself to use warhammer also. I don’t like it either. As for the 2H axe, I fell in love with it, but rarely use one.
