Shouldn't Follower Damage Bonus on Armor and potions you are wearing, affect your thralls if you use War Party? It does not

Bug Description:

Choosing the War Party perk in Authority cancels follower damage on armor and potions. Skelos Cultist Master Armor does not increase follower damage if you have War Party. Neither does the Tears of Gullah. I understand that War Party takes away the Authority damage bonus, but I am assuming it isnt meant to take away damage bonus from armor and potions as well?

Bug Reproduction:

I tested with a lvl 1 thrall with an iron mace vs the XX_Test_DoNothing npc. First both me and thrall naked. Then I equipped the Skelos Cultist Armor. Same Damage. I used a Tears of Gullah potion on myself. Still same damage.

Addendum!
This has been tested on the new 3.0.2 patch today!

Oh… well… good to know. No wonder why my war party feels so much weaker than one Lian at 15 authority.

Have you tested the first corrupted perk which gives followers scaled damage bonus? Is War Party immune to that also?

I’m a little confused why you’re saying this is a bug when the game literally tells you taking War Party your Stats no longer influence your thralls damage output. Sounds to me like the perk works like it says.

I have and it does apply with war party
You can even check your followers stats when the buff is on and their damage bonus from str goes up 3% per corrupted point plus the damage difference with and without the buff up is VERY noticeable

The perk specifically says your follower is no longer affected by your stats not attributes if i remember correctly. I would take that as all stats, I’m running that perk so I dont stack any kind of follower damage stats i go for vitality and stamina instead.

The first corrupted perk, Frenzy, works with War Party, and if you run corrupted 19/20 authority, you get 57% increased damage from it. That’s the way to go if you want 2 thralls as it’s the only thing currently that increases their damage

The perk says “your stats no longer influence”.
That’s kind of ambiguous because buffs and armor buffs aren’t technically “your” stats. They’re bonuses from the armor and items used, not from you.
