Since when did 300 pluss 700 equal 490

I play solo with no mods and this is extremely frustrating. I work hard to get iron only to get that result :frowning:

2 questions -

  1. what happened? Do you mean that 300 ironstone plus 700 iron ore = 490 bars? (because that would be roughly correct - it costs 2 ironstone for one bar), or did 300 plus 700 of something become 490 of the same thing?
  2. Are you actually playing on the Public Beta client? Because you could potentially get any number of odd results over there, given that it is not supposed to be working (last I heard)

it was 700 iron bars plus 300 sorry I should of made that clearer and don’t know if it is public beta but at a guess it might be. :frowning: it is so frustrating :frowning: grrrr

Thanks for clarifying. Yeah, that should not happen.
Is it possible that you used them for anything? The system does now allow the possiblity of pulling directly from a bench to craft somewhere else, so it can be easy to (for example) set a bunch of iron reinforcements crafting in the blacksmith bench and then be left with fewer iron bars than expected somewhere else.
Or was it as straightforward as you had 700 iron bars in a chest, put another 300 in and saw the total go down immediately?

The public beta thing is still confusing me - I’m not aware of any way to get access to the public beta client at the moment. It’s just that you tagged your report ‘Public Beta Client’. If you have somehow found a way to be playing on the public beta client, that could explain any problems, as it’s not supposed to be in use, and could have a completely broken version of the game right now.
