I played the game last time a few weeks ago. Today I loaded Conan Exiles went to Singleplayer/Coop, Next/further (Einzelspieler/Koop, Weiter), klicked it, and was transfered to the screen where I have to create a new character (what I don’t want).
How can I play with my “old” character?

The character was not deleted from me, absolutely sure. And I have not klicked New.

Try loading a backup.
\steamapps\common\Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Saved\
Once in this directory, delete game.db or rename it to something like game.db.bak.
You’ll see several backup files, such as game_backup_1.db. Rename one of these to game.db and then load your singleplayer game.
Check the timestamps and file sizes of the backup files and load one you think might still contain your old character’s save data. Or just go through them till one works.
