Ive seem this alot on facebook today. I have my own personal u verified opinion on this but wanted an answer hopefully from the devs. Between the relic hunters and the volcano thalls which are stronger/better.
Now i realize you have to seperate spinas and daicas from erii and kisthis also. IMO Spinas the Marauder is the BEST nornal thrall. He just goes on a killing spree and is unstoppable.
Now relic hunters and t4 volcano thralls have the same hp. The relic hunter AI from my experience seems subpar and they seem a little dumb. Hopin for a definitive answer @hugo and @Ignasi.
On a side note, i seen a patch note where the devotees were increased to 6k hp. How are they in comparision in terms of strength to the relics or t4 volcanos?

Most people I know use Relic Hunter Treasureseekers, as they are pretty good. For singleplayer I use treasureseeker bosses, they have 13500HP. But that’s only attainable in single player with admin mode. In mp, most of my thralls are heirs to the north just due to the fact that I base near many of their scouting and encampment areas, however soon I’ll be going after cimmerian beserkers too. I don’t think I’ll go after many of the volcano thralls because of their distance and their difficulty, now there are much better options closer by.
I would love to know the answer to this as well. What makes you say you have to separate spinas and daicas from erii and kisthis? I must not be aware of something. I personally take Erii everywhere after watching a damage test video but I tried the other ones while farming city bosses and can’t say I notice a difference really
Spinas and diacas are rarer for one, i normally give daicas to my clan mates cause they know the spinas r mine. From my experience and imo, spinas has a much more hostile AI. As for power and such i cant speak. But once spinas starts killing he doesnt stop until everything in range is dead where as erie and kisthis both stop when whatever ur attackin is dead.
I’ve never really done any comparison between Spinas and the others, but oh god Spinas is ma boy for ever. He was the first Votary that I met during my first trip to the volcano as well as my really first fighter. When I’m going on a fight, it’s Spinas or nothing !
I´d like to throw in my suspicion, that all these fighters have the same AI and all the differences are by chance. In my experience the follower thrall sometimes fights fierce and sometimes not so much, often he is bugged out by uneven ground or other stuff, also if the fights last to long and so on. I often run around for a while to let the AI “relax”.
So in the end the only question for me is how much they tank, and i am fine with everything above 7000hp.
I like to farm high hp purge thralls, but thats just my taste of fun.
I don’t notice any wonky AI with Erii but Spinas is the only non purge votary fighter I don’t have but I gotta find him now and get him on the wheel
Well since my ts were frozen I was using Erii I didnt notice a big difference I had the same setup for both arena armor sword of crom. I find the TS to be a little more aggressive in fighting they jump into it right away compared to me getting hit first then erii would go and fight but that’s the current thrall system sometimes they just stand there looking stupid and that happens to all thralls.
Imo unless your going out to do PvE, Felines Pets make the best melee guard thralls. Seems like people have more trouble dealing with groups of Cats trying to leap on them than actual thralls.
I use the Relic Hunter Treasure Seekers for defending my base but I exclusively use the Beast -Tamer Thralls you get from the T4 level Ice Purges for my companion thrall…
I hold a deep hatred for Erii, Spinas, and Kisthis. After watching them show a minimum amount of competence as they killed my relic hunters who were busy trying to attack walls and run through closed doors and generally drooling on the floor.
Do some research and perhaps some testing and come up with your own answer.
Or PM a dev or moderator but to come into an open general discussion forum or EXPECT another person to deliver for you is screaming ENTITLEMENT.
The answer is already here for you (reference the dozens of threads already pertaining to this), you just don’t appear to want to accept that answer.

I’m not from Funcom, but @Bone made a very comprehensive post about Relic Hunters and Beast Tamers. @Maedhros added some actual named ones from the volcano. I don’t think an official needs to weigh in when there’s already a complete answer. Furthermore, there is talk of an incoming thrall re-work so any official statement about fighter efficacy might be premature.
The best fighters are from the volcano and only those are from the purge.
You have 9900HP.
However, a purge on the volcano is not an easy one if you are not already Lvl 60 and have a small army of 15 Thralls with Love Tap.
