As said, Internetās not always a thing.
If it wasnāt for my boss paying for StarLink, Iād not be trying to play AoC, with my usual cellular based 350+ms connection speed. Both are unreliable at that.
Itās just nice to sit down and play a game without the requirement to perform, be antagonised by online silliness (and the admin booting you because you had a crap day and said something, once), connection issues, obligations to guilds etc.
Turns out, at least for the 30-day Steam check, Exiles just wants one single connect, and off you go thereafter with the firewall rule back in place. Just saying, for future reference.
